Not that the final scene we all got necessarily needed any music (🎵), but the music here is just so _chilling!_

This is the version I remember seeing in that Making of Jurassic Park book I found in my school library [and proceeded to pore over every lunchtime at that school]. But the other versions of the sequence, I only discovered from this channel, so thank you so much for that! Still my absolute favorite dinosaur too!

The music here is so creepy and unsettling. Fits well with the images. I always considered the Jurassic films to be part-Horror in a way and I think the Dilophosaurus sequence from the first film especially epitomizes the Horror aspects. I don't think the Jurassic films get enough credit as Horror films.

I agree, this music works so well! It's why I used it for all 3 versions of this sequence represented on the channel haha. Yeah, there are definitely horror elements in at least the first two Jurassic films. They leaned away from them in the latter films, and I hope it comes back more in the new one.

@@JurassicTime Same. I always viewed the first two as being Natural Horror films in a way (or Unnatural Horror might be a more accurate term). They're very much a modernized Frankenstein tale. I'm hoping the next film is tonally much closer to JP and TLW, and embraces the Sci-Fi Horror aspects, while also depicting the dinosaurs as real animals. Something Spielberg did so well in the first two, careful to not have them as mindless monsters.
