It seems I have accidentally sinned by spreading misinformation on the internet, making parts of this video inaccurate. It does not say that the dinosaurs are incompatible with most of the plants, but the PLANETS ecosystems. That is completely my fault, and I don't know how not only I talked about this topic with people for an entire week but made a whole video about it without noticing. Thank you to xplodenator for finally pointing this out to me. I still stand by invasiveness being superior to what is presented here, but it is not utterly ridiculous as the plant thing would have been.

It's all good, but the ecosystem plot point is HILARIOUS. Last movie: "All the dinosaurs are free and will coexist with our world." This movie: "um actually btw the dinosaurs started dying off because the modern planet was inhospitable to them because OF COURSE tf it was. We can't believe y'all believed the ending of Dominion wasn't a completely bs premise. Can you tell we ran out of ideas 2 movies ago?" 😂😂😂

5:50 Correction. Dinosaur King did have one Triassic dinosaur on its roster, Gojirasaurus. It even appeared in the second season of the show.

In the arcade and TCG games there was another two, Liliensternus and Eoraptor, who didn't appear in the anime

You know, the whole "they cant eat the plants" wouldve really made sense, it really sounds like something micheal Crichton wouldve written, If we didnt see dinosaurs litterally eating Grass in every JW movie.

If you look the guy mad mistake and mixed up plants with planets . They can eat the plants it's just global modern conditions are something they are not as used to

Monster Hunter Peak. I can kinda understand the no Triassic thing, even if it’s a major L regardless. The main subject they’re going for is current serious discoveries. I can imagine that limited the choices. Maybe the Triassic was missing anything hot happening dinosaur-related right now. I personally am happy to throw Rebirth out on sight if on nothing but basic pattern recognition. FK and Dominion were trash idk how this one will be any different, especially when its production has been rushed as hell.

Jurassic Park pushed the public perception of dinosaurs forward from slow fat lizards to fast active bird like hunters, but Jurassic World held the perception of dinosaurs back in favor of outdated and in some cases regressed designs. I hope at the very least this new movie can bring some more well researched depictions of its dinosaurs. Also glad to have you back Shifty.

If you wanna do all those things it's fine, but if you do that and get mad at other people who simply want more and better things, I'll make fun of you. Go watch the movie and clap when the blue velociraptor shows up, but don't get mad at me for not caring about that.

It reminds me of the new Star Wars trilogy: A multi billion dollar IP that's getting passed around to different writers who all clearly hate one another's ideas, or at least have zero respect for them. Fallen Kingdom and Dominion both shat all over what came before for the sake of telling their garbage stories.

Wasn't Dominion supposed to be the End of the ''Jurassic Saga''? Why are we getting a new one? Also I love how everything, EVERYTHING spoke against Releasing the Dinosaurs in Fallen Kigdom and letting them roam around in Dominion, but they chose not to for reasons. And now they are suffering because they are not adapted to the ecosystems that nowadays exist? Who would have seen that coming?

At this point, they should just set this movie in a separate canon. Having the movie take place in a different AU would certainly fit the title "Jurassic World: Rebirth"

Where are you getting the plantlife being the reason the dinosaurs have been depopulating? It literally says in the description that they were engineered for tropical climates and so have been reduced to those areas

still a really stupid reason. The last movie had Ingen dinosaurs in snow, and that doesn't account for Biosyn dinosaurs which were designed with cold climates in mind (Pyroraptor comes to mind) what about temperate environments? hell we saw Sinoceratops in a god damn savanna, I'm hard pressed to believe climate is a solid reason for the re-extinction of the dinosaurs

It wasn't mentioned, but Primitive War's movie is set to release next year, I'm optimistic for it but cautiously so. I can't see how someone has faith in the JP franchise at this point, let alone the JW ones specifically. First movie was bad, second was commonly said to be not great but had promise, and Dominion was just a failure of a movie. There is only one critically successful and 'good' movie, being the first one (duh).
