'Too much'. They tried to pack way too much into 2 hours and every moment is an 'epic' moment. The best way to make things feel epic is to space out the epic moments with some normal moments. Also the you're totally right about the dialogue feeling forced. But apart from that some of the dinosaur sequences were so well made. ILM is truly extraordinary!

Hey you!!!! And yes yes yes! I agree to that!!! And epic moment should be a prize. You would make a better paced story than what they did but I do love the models. I still stand by Jurassic Park having the best........ wait....... I mean, Prehistoric Planet is now on that list too lol

I saw it last night and I still haven’t figured out what to think of this film. I liked it but felt both overwhelmed and underwhelmed. I think your thoughts are helping me figure what I thought worked and what didn’t work. Too much happening, not enough dinosaur focus and it felt like it had too many cooks in the kitchen. I think if this had been two parts it would’ve had more time to breathe. On another note, I don’t think they treated Grant’s character well. He felt like a sidekick and seemed a little dumbed down to elevate Ellie, which just left a bad taste in my mouth. Both characters were equal in the original film. And considering how much Trevorrow didn’t like how the OG cast was treated in Disney Star Wars, you’d think he’d be wise to not make the same error. Shame.

@@deinocheirusthebestduck5447 I don’t believe any of you the movie was so F’ing good and again like with Fallen Kingdom, it hurt me to hear what Alteori was saying about the movie and about Maisie. I actually felt like this movie was about Maisie and not Kayla or Dr. Malcom like she mentioned. Also in the final fight scene your lucky Rexy didn’t get her neck ripped out she is an old girl and also the giganotosaurus was bigger then Rexy, also it was our first time having a plant eater in a final fight scene. I truly think the way they had the Therizinosaurus help Rexy was fantastic also they were all in the same biome together, Rexy, The Giga and the Theirazenosaurus were all in the same biome. The Pyroraptor and Atrociraptors were amazing and so much else about this movie was good. I do admit the only scene I didn’t like was when they introduced the Dimetrodon and if the mosasaur got more screentime but apart from that movie was so action packed and it’s better then any other Jurassic Park/World film. Oh and the Dilophosaurus…those were biosyns Dilophosaurus not ingens Dilophosaurus, it’s gonna be a different model and also be happy that we got to see it one more time and that it killed somebody. I’m sorry if I was mean but it truly hurt me what I heard. Also Maisie was a B**** in this film, it’s like the killer whales at seaworld, she probably just felt locked up in the place she was but also I get it because Claire and Owen were protecting her and Maisie anger just took over and she probably wasn’t thinking straight. I agree with the complaints about the final battle, namely in the issue of Rexy once again getting curbstomped and needing help. I didn't mind it with the Indominus Rex since JW1 clearly established that she was this freakish super hybrid. Plus she had already breezed through multiple attempts to subdue or destroy her, so of course they needed to cross the Godzilla threshold to get rid of her for good. But them doing Rexy dirty a second time is just disrespectful to the character. Not to mention they just made a far less epic version of the JW1 end battle. That said, the Giga still comes out looking worse. First it was defeated by Malcolm throwing a flaming stick into its mouth, then it died like a total bitch getting pushed onto the Thezino's claws by Rexy.

I think the lack of kills is probably due to studio interference, I mean Colin had no problem showing some very gory stuff in the first Jurassic World movie so what exactly stopped him here? The answer, it wasn't him it was the studio, they wanted to capitalise on the younger audience. I hope the movie underperforms so that they can take more risks in the future. Seriously an R-rated Jurassic movie with a proper script would most certainly outdo Joker

I have to say, my favorite scenes were gonna have to be the Therizinosaurus and Dilophasaurs. I think the way they captured the Dilophasaurs was really haunting, besides that one scene with it at face length from claire. But I really like how they killed off Lewis. It was like everything came full circle as Lewis was responsible for Dennis's death. The therizinosaurus scenes were all great, especially how the shots were shot.

Fun fact: The Mesozoic had pretty much the same oxygen density as the modern-day, the period lasted over a hundred million years, so there's actually some point where it was even lower. But they still lived just fine. Dinosaurs actually had much more effective lungs than most animals, which allowed them to extract more oxygen from the atmosphere and support their large size, they also lay dozens of small and convenient eggs and didn't have to deal with gestating large offspring. So, despite being in roughly the same atmospheric condition as mammals, dinosaurs could grow to massive sizes with little difficulty. Oxygen only affects the size of bugs in the Carboniferous, on land there's so much oxygen it almost makes no difference to vertebrates.
@Alteori
@Alteori 2 жыл бұрын
That is interesting. I will have to do some more research on that. I know each year we find out new things But I think one of the excuses we can make for the dinosaurs is that they're also genetically engineered so they could engineer them to have larger and more efficient lungs.
@thereptile9467
@thereptile9467 2 жыл бұрын
@@Alteori Awesome, glad you find the fun facts I dispense amusing. Dinosaurs had so much time to adapt to their environment it's actually frightening how well specialized some of them were, mammals were diverse, but they didn't have nearly as much time to experiment as the dinosaurs did. An Elephant represents the current mass limit of a land mammal, that's because relatively recently their skeleton structure wasn't built to be so large. Increase the size of an elephant, and it'll start to struggle to even support its own weight, its lungs would be too small, its bones too heavy, and it wouldn't be able to have a child because the baby would be too big to carry around. The T.rex, on the other hand, weight pretty much double that, and they walked around only on two legs. Their entire body was so well optimized they can grow several times faster than mammals in only 10 years, they had several air sacs to absorb more oxygen with only one breath than mammals, they had pneumatized yet durable bones because they can create red blood cells without a need for bone marrow, and they had so much muscle mass it's insane. Dinosaurs were, quite literally, built different.
@thereptile9467
@thereptile9467 2 жыл бұрын
And since I'm here, another fun fact: Depending on their lifestyle, some dinosaurs could potentially have seen the world in some sort of constant slow motion, like how some species of hawks and falcons have such heightened reflexes that they constantly process what they see at a faster rate than most creatures. There is a high likelihood that some Non-Aves dinosaurs could share this trait as well, so maybe to nimble dinosaurs like the Velociraptor or the Troodontid specimen, humans would just be huge dumb animals moving in through invisible tar.

that explains australia
@thereptile9467
@thereptile9467 2 жыл бұрын
@@theholyderp2313 You'd be surprise how close to the truth that is actually. Up until the neolithic era, Australia were one of the only places left in the world where megafauna still exists. The isolated nature of the continent and its unique ecosystem gave rise to many species of giants, from marsupials taller than a man like Procoptodon and Diprotodon, to the Megalania as big as a car, even Thylacoleo carnifex the largest marsupial predator of all time. The reason of this seems to do with how australian mammals reproduce, by using pouches to carry their tiny enbryonic youngs, the marsupials of Australia were able to grow to massive sizes without having to worry about being pregnant with an equally massive offspring. The growth of giant marsupials encouraged larger and larger predators to hunt these larger creatures, thus starting the arms race that included giant komodo dragon-like lizards and gigantic crocodiles. In turn, other animals evolved to this condition as well, creating a world of giants. That is, until humans came along. The introduction of humans to the continent caused the mass extinction of many Australian megafauna, creating huge open wounds in the ancient ecosystem that lasted even to this day. The reason why Australia seems so hostile to humans is simply because it is an ancient ecosystem missing its keystones. The creatures of Australia are adapted to a world that no longer exists, a world that didn't have any humans. In a way, you can say that the continent is still grieving the lost of what it used to be.

WARNING: DON’T READ THIS COMMENT IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED DOMINION! (Unless you want spoilers for some reason.) I’m prettty sure the therizinosaurus was blind because it’s eyes were all greyed out. This would mean it couldn’t tell apart friend or foe. This could be explained by the scene where it slices a deer’s head off. The deer made noise so it immediately went to attack it because it doesn’t know if it’s a predator or not. Also it is probably very territorial. Because from what I’ve seen in media, therizinosaurs are extremely territorial.
@ozzywalker609
@ozzywalker609 2 жыл бұрын
I think they drew inspiration from the Giant Anteater for its behavior. Anteaters are almost completely blind, so they will assume any creature coming close is a predator and swipe at it with its massive claws. Even jaguars stay away from them! So, yeah. Even if the Therizinosaurus as a species wasn't blind, I still like that they drew a parallel to the Anteater.

Yeah its a 7/10 for me, so what did Charlotte Lockwood clone herself and carried her cloned embryo? Having a clone human was jumping the mosasaur but now they just, wow, retconed the retcon. BioSyn has become Monsanto. That illegal breeding farm, I had seen dinosaurs being used in Agriculture as one of the suggested plots from a while ago so are humans eating dinos? Also saying that Sattler divorced her husband from 3 only gave those of us who ship Grant and Sattler a new hope they can actually be a couple. Also why would Dimetrodons be in a cave? They need the the sun to warm them, so is the cave warmer then the outside? Maybe this could be explained by Grant, Satler or Maisie talking how hot it is inside. The Dilophosaurs are still their juvenile size. They are suppose to be like 3x the size they are in the movie as adults. The mossasaurus being friendly with that humpback whale pod. Nope. May be it does bond with them. Although Mosasaurs are pretty solitary I just imagine the humpback whales telling the mosasaur "if you are going to be traveling with us, well we eat mostly krill."

Saw the movie last night (spoilers) My thoughts; I loved it. Now don't get me wrong, the movie was fundamentally flawed. Some of the dialogue was a little weak, the villains at time were a bit too cartoonish (although in its defence, that's kind of a staple in Jurassic films so maybe that's unfair) and I found the ending to be rather underwhelming. I was also expecting someone special to die, not necessarily the human characters, but maybe one of the Dinos like Rexy or Blue. I would have loved for there to be a scene that made me cry. I think if the ending was a bit more dramatic i think it could have been a near perfect send off. But despite all that, I had an absolute blast with the movie. The dinosaur action was at its peak and I absolutely loved seeing how the dinosaurs have become a part of the natural world. It was a nice nostalgia trip seeing the original characters come back, and oooooooh boy, the final fight! I also thought they did a great job with making the dinosaurs scary, there were several moments that I was extremely tense watching, helped by watching it in 4dx. What I also loved was that it seemed like in many ways, the dinosaurs were presented like animals. It was fascinating seeing them interact with their environment and the differing behaviours they exhibited. It was also interesting seeing how they presented dinosaurs like the therizinosaurus. when it first came on I was really worried they were going to misrepresent it as a carnivore, but instead was established as a very aggressive and territorial herbivore like a hippo. I have to agree with CinemaWins in that I don't think it's fair to judge entertainment objectively. A movie can have an extremely detailed, intricate plot with amazing writing and dialogue, but if the movie is boring, then it's kind of a shit movie. This movie was just so much fun to me that I find it easy to look past the flaws. In fact, I might even see if I can go see it again! 8.5/10

10:30 they kinda fixed this in Camp Cretaceous when they explained the Spinosaurus was hyperaggresive. As for it favoring the humans over better prey, that can be explained by over focus(I don't exact phrase but it works like this) Stoats have evolved this trait so that when attack a target, they keep chasing it until they've finally exhausted and overtaken their prey, a consequence to this instinct is they will ignore better targets of opportunity.

I personally really liked Dominion, flaws and all. There are some really intense senes and good character interactions. Overall Dominion could have been better, but it could also have been a lot worse. [cough-riseofskywalker-cough] Unfortunately critics and dissatisfied fans went straight for this film's throat. We live is a wonderful time where the internet allows everyone to voice their opinion, and some people have gotten very good at being rather loud with theirs. This is exacerbated by the media who loves to amplify the negatives because drama. This is my problem with Internet criticism as a whole: people tend to drop their filters and refuse to see the other side of the coin. And I understand, it's fun to read and write scathing reviews of things you don't like; but if that's all you do then that's all you'll find. Anyway, thanks to those who stuck around through my little rant. I am a firm believer that time is the best seasoning, and only it will tell us if Dominion was a good conclusion or not.

I understand what you're saying but it's free speech and freedom of mind. Just like people have the freedom to express when they like something , we have the freedom to express when we don't like something. 😄 I don't really take the heart with a professional critics say because nowadays they are very detached from the general audience. I think that is changing but after I did my video, I went out there to see if there were other people besides just one or two but had the same view and there were many others. I'm always made to feel as though I'm being unreasonable by having issues and criticisms, but there have always been criticisms of movies. The internet just makes it more apparent bc now we can hear people. I don't think it's fair that when we express how much we love something, like when I was talking about genndy tartakovsky's primal and Godzilla vs. Kong, people are completely on your side but the minute you have a different opinion and you say you don't like something everybody claims that you're being unfair negative. people are going to have different perspectives . There are many fans who love that Jurassic Park is that with cheesy franchise. And there are many fans but feel as though the franchise in the spirit of The Originals. It's called having a difference of opinion and there's nothing wrong with it.

It had a lot of things that needed to be resolved. But the run time was rather short to do that… some inaccuracies. I’m surprised they weren’t charged with anything for letting the dinosaurs out in the first place in the second movie, which in turn caused havoc and some lives for sure. Then the climax was rather meh, already figured none of the main characters are going to die.. so there’s no thrill or anything to it. The Rex of course wins… again, cause main character too.

I haven’t watched the video yet and will most likely post a reply to further elaborate thoughts after watching. However, my first watch of this movie was interesting. I thought that the plot was a little contrived and felt really rushed, but since it was so fast paced there wasn’t a moment where I wasn’t entertained. My biggest point of contention is how they handled Rexy, she just felt as though she was stumbling around the entire time and simply there for the wow factor rather than being integrated into the plot; which is really disappointing in a movie with several call backs to the original and they’re not even utilizing, arguably, the movies most famous character. Regardless, a movie I think that has some stunning visuals and characters that you can’t help but love

I've said this elsewhere, but it bears repeating here: It's always refreshing to hear a hardcore fan be brutally honest about their franchise without being a jerk. As a life-long JP fan who's been disappointed by all the sequels (except CC, which I love), I wish more JP/JW fans were like you. BTW, at 34:00, you're thinking of "found footage" films, & I agree. There are so many great ideas for "what a unified world blending dinosaurs and humans could be", yet we see very little of that in JWD. I'd especially like to see incidents of large azhdarchids gobbling up kids (shown w/found footage so that it's not too graphic) leading to schools/parks/etc being outfitted w/giant nets (like the ones some golf courses use, but w/roofs). Maybe a bit silly, but so are JW's animals 😉

That was interesting and that was the main conflict to explore: The realization of the human race was coming to the end and now a new sentient life was taking the control of our planet. But with the dinosaurs that sound pretty mehhh. I mean you can change the dinosaurs for any other creatures of the history earth and no difference or conflict this would bring. Just meh. Compared that to IA or aliens or apes taking the control. Jurassic Park must be a critic of the power of mankind and ethics of the science. Not some war between humans and dinosaurs. Despite this murderous and hate filled goal he would have a sesne of religion and justice were he would harm but not kill people who stand in his way since his goal is not to kill people but only the thing they have created since as we all know these are not real dinasours. It would end with the rest of humanity dissing out the protectors of the dinasuars and the ultimate extermanation of them as a message of morality and consecuquences is put up so shit like this doesnt happen again cuz it was a tragedy in wich many people lost theyr lives and many lost theyr loved ones( and no not even the herbivores will be spared since they cand drive out wolved and other normal predators thus making them extinct so they have to go too).

All the other films the dinosaurs were their own personality like rexy was a bad ass that kicked arse, raptors were scary death horror machines, the I rex was a tournament psychopath ect ect but none of them felt like that. That is the only dinosaur and scene that I walked away from feeling goosebumps. And then we never see that dinosaur again until he needs to be used to kill the giganotosaurus, which by the way got killed off so quickly and in such a cheesy way. I was like huh there’s 0 need or reason for them to happen to bump into each other. Then she pushes the giga onto the tickle chicken… really? My biggest grievance with this film though was blue…. Blue to me was like Owen’s family and Owen was blues family. I know she had a baby and you don’t wanna mess with any kind of mumma BUT it’s like they were just some unknown animals to each other. Why did they completely wipe away all the years of bonding between the two? It would have made so much more sense if she’d introduced Owen to Betta knowing they would bond just like she and her sisters did with Owen BECAUSE HES FAMILY. I commented before I listened, so I’ll add on at the bottom now that I’ve heard the whole video… As a super fan, I’m still not sure how I feel about this movie. It felt far too safe for me. There’s nine main-ish characters in this movie and not one of them get eaten. NINE. I really really thought that Malcolm and for sure Wu were going to die in this movie, and for literally everyone to survive feels lazy to me. My absolute biggest complaint though was easily Dodgson. There’s literally no reason for him to be there as he’s not even remotely book accurate. That character could have been named anything and it wouldn’t have made a bit of a difference to the movie’s story. He’s sinister, arrogant, and literally a murderer in the books… and in this one he was just a weird dude that chomped on gum and had strange motions/movements at random times. It felt like character assassination to me. The movie both feels like there’s too much story for the run time and not enough story, which I didn’t know was possible. I told someone that we really needed a movie of what happened between FK and Dominion because all of the stuff in the black market and what seems to have happened in between seems hella interesting. The dialogue was all over the place, but never more so than when Alan and Ellie are speaking. Like, not a thing they said to each other felt like the original characters to the point that I thought it made them, Laura Dern in particular, look like they were bad at acting. It felt a lot like Trevorrow wanted to shoot a nature documentary in the middle of this movie because there’s so many things that happen that literally don’t have anything to do with the story and it’s only there to showcase another new dinosaur. The interactions with SO MANY dinosaurs felt unnecessary. If they had so many things to put in the movie story wise and dinosaur wise… just make it into two films. I did have one complaint about the dilophosaurus outside of the fact that it looks just… weird as well. Ramses specifically states that they pride themselves on having dinosaurs as pure as they can be… but then the Dilophosaurus is still too small, it’s still venomous, and it’s still got the frill. Why have an entire sanctuary of perfect animals and then just one that is completely inaccurate?

Having just come out from seeing the film, I have no clue what to make of it. *Spoilers just in case!* (Positives) I like that Biosyn was the main bad this time around. They were in the first movie (or at least they were mentioned), but then they disappeared and were never seen again until now. I didn't mind the cicada plot-line. Given everything that's happened within the franchise, it wouldn't surprise me of some people just wanted to see the world burn. I like that they brought the old cast back and tried to tie up some loose ends from the old films. Some of the themes and ideas were in tune with the original book. Beta was adorable, and I love the part Grant played in trying to re-capture her. Some of the new dinosaurs were great to see, the Therizinosaurus being the stand-out for me. Dodgson's death was satisfying. The humor was toned down (it was overblown and reeked of the MCU in Fallen Kingdom, and the first Jurassic World to an extent). Same goes for the nostalgic 'remember this?!' moments. There were some genuine moments of tension (the Atricoraptor chase comes to mind). Finally, the last shots of the world coexisting with the dinosaurs was uplifting, and they made me smile. - (Neutral) Henry Wu's redemption. I fully expected him to die in this movie, so his redemption arc was jarring to say the least. It's not entirely unwelcome, but he's going to need a lot more to atone for than the creation of the cicadas. - (Negatives) It feels like so much was accomplished and yet so little. On that note, the editing and pacing was rough, and it feels like multiple, important scenes were missing. Grant and Malcolm didn't feel like the same characters they were in the original films (Malcolm in particular came off as an idiot at times. His character in The Lost World would have kick this one's arse), and their dialogue ranged from head-scratching to plain bad. I don't hate Maisie, but I could care less about her origins and the truth about her 'mother'. Despite some good tracks, Michael Giacchino's score fell a little flat for me. I think he peaked with Fallen Kingdom. The Giganotosaurus was a disappointment, especially since it was hyped up so much. The battle between Rexy and the Giga did nothing for me. Same goes for their established rivalry in the prologue. The Spinosaurus felt more like a rival than the Giga did. Speaking of which, *no Spinosaurus to be found in the film*! I know that no one likes the Spino for killing the T-Rex back in Jurassic Park 3, but a cameo would have been nice to see. - Half of this film feels like a satisfying ending to the Jurassic franchise while the other half feels like a disorienting mess. I may have to watch it again before coming to a full conclusion on it, and where it stands with the other films. I heard a rumor that a director's cut exists somewhere. If it's true, then hopefully it will come out at some point and fix most of the problems I have with the film.

To be honest, I wish JP/JW kinda go the route that Star Wars and Marvel are going and start to make more shorts like Battle at Big Rock and air shows like Camp Cretaceous on like Amazon or Netflix. I think I would be a very nice way to expand the lore of the Jurassic era and introduce new characters and animals as the release new shows or short. But overall, I thought Dominon, as a very big fan of the franchise, was pretty enjoyable. There were a lot nostalgic baiting and the dialogue was pretty off. My personal favorite part of the movie were the animal themselves. Pyroraptor, Dimetrodon, and Therizinosaurus were honesty the best animals in the show. Lystrosaurus and Microceratus were also super adorable. Personally I wish the Atrociraptors got more screen time. They are such a cool animal when I saw that not just Atrociraptor but also Pyroraptor had non-pronated hand, I almost cried. It was honestly the most beautiful thing I ever saw in the series. The Giga, I thought, was also great but probably my least favorite animal in the movies. The design is meh, the Giga for me is just too overpowered. Remember in the Prologue when the Giga absolutely shreked the Rex, I wish the opposite of that happened in the final fight and have Rexy either kill the Giga outright without (SPOILER WARNING) having the Theri help her, or have the Giga not die by the teeth of Rexy or the talons of the Theri at all and have it retreat like a real animal should in a situation like this and just have it be apart of the natural ecosystem. The second thing I like about the film was the setting. I absolutely adore the semi-post apocalyptic vibe I get with the film, especially with the Black Market segment for the film. Seeing ordinary people interacting and purchasing with prehistoric lifeforms in a modern setting is just so refreshing to me. The DinoTracker website also gave me that same sort of feeling. Overall, I think I would definitely rank it higher that Fallen Kingdom and maybe JP 3 but below Jurassic World, The Lost World and Jurassic Park. Numbers wise, I would give it an average of 7/10, there was a lot of good stuff but also a lot a bad stuff in the film and a huge fan of the franchise, I can’t rank it any lower than 7.

SPOILERS AHEAD! One thing I did like is how they portrayed the Therizinosaurus (despite how ugly the face is), as this dangerous herbivore(which for JW/Jp is incredibly rare to see). Except when it teamed up with rexy for some reason... But one major problem is that the dinosaurs that were promoted to hell in back are barely in the movie. The trailers give away the majority of the Atrociraptor, Pyroraptor, and Quetzalcoatlus scenes. Make me wonder what the point of including Pyroraptor was? Could've just replaced it with another pair of Atrociraptor and no one would bat an eye. Speaking of, for what was built up as being one of the big antagonists, the Atrociraptor weren't really in this at all either, with their introduction and chase in Malta being the only scenes they were in. Honestly While this movie wasn't as hilariously stupid like Fallen Kingdom, but not great either. It got the overwhelming reaction of.... eh

It's possible it ate meat on occasion(like all herbivores did) but that doesn't make it an omnivore as it can only sustain itself with plant matter. As for it being blind, I learnt that today, but how is that relevant?

I think the difference in Massie's character now is in the first film she was in JWFK she actually lived a normal life with her grandad, her nanny, she got to have somewhat freedom explore the museums and just was basically being a kid but in the second movie she's basically like Rapunzel taken away from the public not allowed to be seen,heard, or talked to by anyone four the past 4 years which is why she had a somewhat snobbish attitude because she just wanted to be free, normal and live the life she once had without restrictions

I wonder if Rexy and Teriz (I'll call Therizinosaurus 'Theriz' for short") had a grudge against Giga (short for Giganotosaurus) when Giga came and bullied Rexy into letting go of her prey, I had the feeling that was not the first time they met (and I'm not talking about their ancestors over 65 million years ago) maybe Giga waits until Rexy finds prey and bullies her into giving the prey to him, and maybe because Teriz is blind, he likes to mess with her. so apparently Giga is "like the joker" which the Joker loves to mess with people and do pranks, maybe he was just messing with Rexy and Teriz and finally, they just had enough but maybe they couldn't show that for pacing or they wanted dinosaurs to be taken more seriously (but if you're gonna say a dinosaur is like the Joker I accept them to be crazy or at least mischievous, Giga was more just a dick for stealing Rexy's deer) I'm actually ok with Teriz 'helping' Rexy but like my theory, it's because she also hated Giga

I personally feel like (and I completely understand when people disagree) that movies like this or like the Godzilla franchise don't need to be super thought provoking or need much substance to them, I personally am completely content just watching a movie with "monsters" just slugging it out and having a small amount of character dialogue also I love it when films explore multiple places. Probably why I also liked Fallen Kingdom. Additionally, I just really like Chris Pratt as a person and actor because I think he's fun and I like that he's not like the rest of Hollywood and likes to represent people like me (just the common American Joe)

I just saw it with my younger brother, and I loved it Comment Update: yes Alteori, I do understand your criticism on the movie, plus, I only criticize how they barely showed the final fight between Rexy and the Giga, but when the Therizino showed up, they showed the full bodies, but then cut away again, the only time they showed them fully, was the fatality of the villain Dinosaur ( like Godzilla Vs the Mutos and Godzilla Vs. Ghidorah ), and the team up between Rexy and Therizino was pretty cool, though me and my brother agreed that the Spinosaurus and Rexy would have been a better team up, plus my brother made a good point, he mentioned that Rexy ( T.Rex ) and the Spinosaurus were two of the biggest top predators but then there’s the Giga, and he referenced Hobbs and Shaw teaming up on Brixton and now that I think of it, I think of Godzilla and Kong teaming up on Mechagodzilla, I still enjoyed how the Giga died, it actually surprised me and my brother, I found it awesome, and you may hate me for saying this, but I actually liked the way they killed off Dodson with the Dilos, ( sorry Alteori XD ), in all honesty, I can understand the fact everything was rushed, and there was soo much going on, but I still enjoyed the movie and loved it, and I can’t wait till Season 5 of Camp Cretaceous to come out Also I lost my sh*t when you laughed when explaining how Rexy and the Therizino roared together, you cracked me up Alteori 🤣, and I love you for that, we all do, good video, have a great day One more thing, just you wait until CinemaSins does an Everything Wrong With Jurassic World Dominion

I personally thought the movie was good, but it definitely does have its issues. One of them being the newer Dinosaurs. Only a few of them only really worked, like the Therizinosaurus and the Giganotosaurus. They worked unlike the others that were there.... for the sake of being part of the Official Canon, like the Iguanodon, Pyroraptor, Quetzalcoatlus, and Lystrosaurus. And then the whole story of Charlotte Lockwood, it was pretty confusing to follow, AND THAT'S SOMETHING I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT TO HAVE HAPPENED WITH ME WITH A JURASSIC PARK MOVIE! But after watching explanation videos it then started to a little more sense. Overall, this movie had a lot packed in it and I think it was too much, but I still really liked this movie. 7/10

The Spinosaurus' motivation for constantly going after Grant, Billy, and the Kirbys was because according to Paul Kirby's actor, the Spinosaurus was VERY angry that they hit it with the plane, as it drew blood and injured it. And yeah i was pretty surprised how much i liked that new plane pilot lady as well and well...everybody in the movie. Therizinosaurus was freaking awesome but yeah overall it was good and didn't find it boring at all. But i did want more of alan Grant with blue and rexy AND the spinosaurus returning and replacing the therizinosaurus in the final fight. But i liked how the dinosaurs MOSTLY act more like animals and think putting the prologue back into the movie would've helped me...personally. Also I like the theory that the spino hated the humans for injuring it with the plane in jp3.

I really enjoyed the movie. I had fun watching it and wasn’t bored at all during the movie. But like any movie now it has flaws. Before I get into it I want to say I wish we had more graphic deaths. Like seeing Eddie get split in two in lost world ir when indorex attacked the park worker hiding behind the truck when it escaped, when it tore apart the asset protection team or when indoraptor bit the guys arm off and mills getting eaten in fallen kingdom. They were all horrifying scenes stuff that actually made me jump or wince and I just would like to see more. Thought they would of shown some more gruesome or graphic deaths in this one since it was end of a era, end of a series but I just felt cheated by the attacks. They just didn’t feel on par to previous movies. For instance none of the dino attacks really got detailed out or shown, they would just skip to something or someone else on camera when they happened. Like when the bad guy got attacked in the black market, they show the Baryonyx go for the head bite but then just skips to something else or when Dodson gets attacked by the dillos they don’t show the kill. I felt little unsatisfied by it. Not really a complaint just something I wish to of seen. I think a R rated JP/JW movie with dino kills that makes the audience scream would be a cool movie. But one thing I was disappointed by was that the trex capture was not in the movie they just mention it. I mean the prequel short film doesn’t even fully show the trex capture it just shows them chasing it to a movie theater. Another thing I’m curious about was the Mosasaurus they never mention it or show it again after the boat scene. Did it get captured, is it in the ocean still? We don’t know. Lastly not really a complaint but in the trailer you see blue run up on a skier and she looks up at something that was something i was curious about seeing what stopped blue from attacking her. Finally were was the spino, i was really hoping for a spino cameo, mention or something, I really thought in the mine it would of been there when we saw the fin. But anyway like I said I still enjoyed the film it is a thrill and like all movies it has its flaws. I give it a solid 7.5 if you go in without seeing the 5 minute prequel it any of the previous movies and a 8.5 out of 10 if you aren’t going in blind.

Then when it takes the deer from rexy, sure it gives her a bite on the snout, but lets her go after she lets it have the deer. So They kinda established a hirarchy that works with them co existing in the valley. When it goes after the people, it doesnt seem that focussed and just partially interested. Slowly kinda walking around and past them taking a lazy bite here and there. And then when it gets confined onto that small area with the other dinos, it gets killed cause they team up on it.
