The fuel thing was smart, given his options at the time. She wouldn't likely know the smell, and with such a sensitive sense of smell, it would probably be way to strong and somewhat painful to smell. like putting hand sanitizer in your hand and taking a big whiff of it. It burns. So, she just walked away not wanting any part of it.

I always thought the fuel was to disrupt the heat sensory capability of the Indominus Rex too. If I remember right, gasoline (and fuel in general) absorbs the surrounding heat of what it comes in contact with.

Also don't forget she may or not have been completely intelligent, but because of the species of used to make her and the fact that she was brought up basically in solitary confinement all her life, she end up being a complete psychopath. Puff adder DNA was used to give her heat vision, but puff adder is a very aggressive and cannibalistic snakes. The tyrannosaurus Rex and majungasaurus we're also cannibalistic dinosaurs that were used in her makeup. The Cuttlefish, will giving her the ability of camouflage may have also given her the ability of additional intelligence because they are excellent problem solvers cuttlefish are also it was also brought up on the website that a species of shark was used in her DNA as well, so if it was a bull shark it would have pumped so much adrenaline through her it would have increased her ferocity. Also on the facts that she really did not know how to interact with other species cuz she never had a mother figure. Like the velociraptors from the very first Jurassic Park movie, in the novel they never had a mother figure as well and that's why they ate each other. That was really demonstrated in the Lost World.

to point of fact, in the original film, and the book jurassic park. it's explained how the raptors were highly intelligent "even problem solving intelligent" that could be a cue as to how smart the Endo-Rex was. considering it was a hybrid of multiple species of vicious, deadly, highly stealthy(some of the creatures containing chemicals to change colors to survive, and or some species of snakes able to shed and recolor their skin to improve hunting capacity) and problem solving intellect of the highest order.... second only to man.... then yeah the only education curve it had over man kind was it had so many hereditary instincts to draw from to be a more perfect predator, and man doesn't have the instincts to keep up with it's logic. hence why Grady who knew most predators could think along it's lines to track it.

Plenty of lessons were learnt from Jurassic Park when they made Jurassic World. There were so many more safety features and dinosaur welfare was much improved (look at the differences in how the raptors and T-rex were kept!) If the computer game Jurassic World Evolution game is to be believed they even stopped using west African reed frog genes to fill genome gaps and started using American bullfrog genes instead (so the newer dinosaur clones did not have the ability to change sex and breed unregulated.) The resort had 11 years of functionality before they messed it up with the I-Rex, a made-up and deliberately dangerous species which is not like anything they ever did at Jurassic Park.

That's gambling with lives. All it takes is some kid sitting on the fence, or a person climbing onto it for a photo, and, who could have guessed, they fall in, Mosa go munchy, and the park has to pay a fine for inadequate safety measures. The crow looks worse than the actual dinosaurs because we have living crows to compare it to. It looks like an imitation, especially since it has feathers which cgi will either do poorly or over-do with too much detail. Kind of like how we see cgi mammals in movies and they look REALLY weird for the same two reasons: we know what they really look and move like, and the fur is not convincing.

Actually the Indominus Rex "escape" scene was more realistic than you think. We as viewers know we are not in danger and as so we can think more rationally, on the other hand, the characters in the movie are in danger, and as so, are panic thinking. Also you are not going to instantly go for the tracker If your dog looks like its not in the yard, you are going to go outside and look for them to make sure they are not in the yard.

Okay. First of all, I know I am comparing apples and oranges. But, in the book the trackers were active constantly. It wasn't a powered tracker, like a gps. It was passive. The park were looking for it, in the right location, and as it gets out it automatically runs the ALARM. They shouldn't have gone in there. They should have checked where it is first, so they can sedate it. Yes, people can act stupidly in dangerous situation. But they weren't being about to be eaten, were they? They should have activated the alarms, as a protocol. Automatically. Without human intervention. But because there was none, they should have known the animal is still there. But this is JW, with a stupid movie monster.

Also, since you like dinosaurs so I recommend you watch two famous dinosaur films and one TV series by BBC naturalist Nigel Marvin. The CGI is amazing for it being a BBC film and series I would recommend watching travel back in time an interesting or saving very species are different time periods. In the episode titled Land of the Giants, you would see me Nigel tracking a herd of the largest sauropod, argentinosaurus, all the while being stopped by a pack of giganotosaurs. In the giant claw, he travels to Mongolia to study the therizinosaurus, well at the same time he encounters the T-Rex is Asian cousin the tarbosaurus, and has a very unique encounter with some other pests along the way. In the series dubbed sea monsters, walking with dinosaurs special, he travels back in time and explores life beneath the oceans from the oldest ocean with life in it, I do apologize for which one it is all the way to the Cretaceous seas. The creatures he meets are fascinating from sea scorpions of the civilian, to note thesaurus of the Triassic, to the actual mosasaurus of the Cretaceous. He even goes further swimming with megalodon, or diving with a prehistoric whale basilosaurus. And his other TV series Prehistoric Park, which ever since my childhood has been one of my favorites, although unfortunately it only lasted six episodes due to funding issues, he starts up a prehistoric reserve and actually does a much better job than Jurassic Park even dead concerning the fact that he only uses more primitive materials such as wooden fences compared to electric ones. He goes back in time and manages the rescue various prehistoric creatures on the verge of Extinction and bring them back to the park when she would soon open to the public at the series continued. Including an orphan pair of tyrannosaurus Rex siblings, a woolly mammoth that was injured by a primitive hunters, arthropleura centipedes and giant dragonflies from the Precambrian, and even from Texas a fully grown deinosuchus crocodile. Whoever thinks that she should do videos on the things that I mentioned about, please respond with a thumbs up, a heart, or a response comment. Also don't forget that the dead sound channel has just released another dinosaur film called an ancient spring

@Alteori

Yeah I don't know why in the later movies they were so concerned about that. I hate when they do that to movies and the only franchise I found that they didn't do that with is Alien thank goodness. These people forgot what made Jurassic Park so good in the first place. It was still a good movie but I can see as time goes on they get more tame and better for children without realizing that when we were all children we loved the movies as they were and were not traumatized by them. Part of why I love dinosaurs is because they were scary and because of the power they had to kill people. The thing is most modern movies don't even have to have more violence on screen but they can imply it. The way they did the mosasaurus scene was decent. I think my issue with some of the modern movies or sequels is that they lose the charm of the first movies on which they are based.

After Owen pointed out the purposeful marking, pulling the tracker out, and setting the flying dinos on the copter I was really expecting the twist to be that the Indominus was mixed with HUMAN DNA. Those brachys looked in surprisingly good shape considering they all got mauled to death (we see one of them get taken down in CC season 1, remember?). I mean, you'd think they would have had their guts ripped open or something. There is some theories going around that that one Ankylosaur that Indi killed was trying to protect Bumpy, though whether or not the smaller one was actually bumpy, i guess we'll never know. Considering how many people supposedly died when the Pteranodons attacked and caused a stampede of humans, there wasn't really any evidence of that in CC following the evacuation.

I will say that they weren't using bullets on the indominus in the camouflage scene like Alteori said. they were using tranquilizer and stun weapons because they wanted to "preserve the asset" and in the movie they say that the trackers run off of bio electricity from the animals. the beeping probably was coming from the trackers the acu had and not the tracker itself because if it was embedded the beeping would be pointless

Before I really started getting into it I always thought that was the actual size of the mosasaurus. However I forgotten that they had basically manipulated the genome enough that are practically made her go 10 times with the actual mosasaurus would be. It is interesting when you think about it that you see the dinosaurs in these movies, you think they're their actual size, only to realize that in reality they were not. Velociraptors like I said on a previous video only about the size of a German shepherd dog, dilophosaurus were big enough to stand over and look down on a person. The dimorphodons were actually about the size of an eagle or a hawk, by appearances the pteranodons of the Jurassic Park, not the Jurassic World franchise were of correct size.

The fanny pack scene, I will attempt to explain what I think was going on. Try reaching your hand out as far as it can go, and try to grab something that does not want to be taken. You try to get a good grip on the thing but it just keeps wiggling. Now add in the fact you now have large thick claws might be a bit hard to know that you hooked something on them. So your less fighting in a tug of war, and more trying to get a bit closer. Does not help that your arms are a bit shorter compared to your body, so you would have to be in an odd position to stick your hands in there.
@Alteori
@Alteori 2 жыл бұрын
🤣 but he got it. The boy wasn't wiggling. The indominus was already pulling her claw back. I've been in those situations where my finger nail is sharp and get snagged on something and when I pull it it gets dragged especially if it's something small. Trust me it was the child plot armor 😂
@hasturking9635

@@Alteori I agree plot armor. But to add to what I said, Indie had odd T rex arms, a bit longer then Rex's of course but still not flexible enough to reach into a hole and properly grab the kid. Thus fitting more with the "she may be less smart, and more of a dumb" as you mentioned.
