@sofishticated2895 жыл бұрын

looking forward to your DIY cabinet. I made an ADA style one with hardwood veneer plywood. Cut all the plywood out with a Track saw/plunge saw which left all the edges perfect (no splintering on the veneer). Put it together with Kreg pocket screws which made it quite easy to assemble. To hide the plywood edges I used iron-on edgeband. To cut out the hole for the pipes in the side and the back I used a router with a template cutter bit. I have some SketchUp file showing my design and cut list I used TIKKURILA Helmi 10 (TVT 1934) paint to try and copy the ADA color. Used primer first which left a nice finish. Thinking about buying a 90-P but next time think I might use medite tricoya MDF. £100 a sheet but meant to be weatherproof for 50 years. Good luck with your tank

The funny thing is that in Brazil we don’t have the Brazilian style (at least not even our famous aquascapers refer to it that way). All the Brazilian Portuguese articles about aquascape styles, none of them mentions a style of our own! How weird is that? I discovered it today and I am digging it so much! Thanks for representing my country
@JurijsJutjajevs4 жыл бұрын
interesting to know. How do you call this kind style in your country? is it Diorama in your opinion or is it NA ?
@cleveraqua85074 жыл бұрын
@@JurijsJutjajevs Diorama is the most common way o heard of. But I need to tell that I got thrilled to learn that you guys represent us with a unique style. I am talking to every Brazilian influencer I know about it so we can also own and develop this style further. I am watching many videos about it and learning so much! Thanks for you beautiful way to showcase this style! We use many stones bc it is easier to find than drift wood. Tho we have many available in nature, there are no “brands” that sells it on stores and popular belief is that you can only use from certain kinds of wood. Therefore, people don’t gather much as well. I admire you so much for your work. Keep rocking! (pun intended).

This is a truly lovely aquascape and I want to try to copy it in a smaller scale, but without the sand path. Would it ruin the concept to plant MC in the front half with lilaeopsis, and solid HC with Eleocharis mini in the back half? In other words, your same plant choices, but making a green path instead of a white one. Alternatively, I could leave the path black. Is the sand a key part of the concept? (It's such a pain to keep nice). Thanks!
