How to Configure Overview Settings

This is a short how-to video on configuring your overview settings, selecting and modifying pre-built configuration packs, and the labeling of new overview tabs. Plus a basic orientation of the Player HUD and the 'HUD' (sic) which hosts your module, camera, capacitor, and sensor controls. Object brackets and sensor brackets are also covered.

Add mailing list - Overview. This mail list already has the maximum number of users. Sent an email to a player I believe is you, asking for a overview, if possible. Thanks. Thanks for the head's up. You can also access the Overview channel for Z-S by going to 'z-s overview' in the chat channel selection window. The steps are the same as they are for the 'Overview.E-UNI' chat channel, just click the overview groupings you want in order up to the final one (which usually sets your colours, brackets, etc).

I love your work, as a new bro your content really helps. I've noticed that the end of what you're saying is often cut off beforeyou finish your sentence. I think that might be a "gate" issue being set too high with your mic or recording software. Is what it sounds like anyhow. Otherwise excellent, and thank you for doing what you do :)

Is there a way to change the size of the columns? example Transverse Velocity is a small number but a wide column. How to resize to narrow column? Thanks

Mouse over the Overview border, you'll see that it changes into a double-sided arrow, meaning that you can expand the window; drag it so it's wide enough that you have the space you need to allow a wider column. Then, move your cursor over the column border you want to resize (the line between the columns), and click and hold, then drag. Just like that. You may have to mouse over the line between the header cells of the column, but you can drag-and-drop resize them.

3:40 - the sound warning doesn't work for anything but plain cargo hold, unfortunately. (though i noticed you didn't mention the sound effect) also, why is this titled overview settings when you're talking about the UI in general? just a slight quibble really, i understand how you chose the title ("UI" isn't exactly attention grabbing)

Not saying it's your fault, Jurious, though it probably is... I can't join the Overview mailing list. it says it's full. Alternatively, Overview.E-UNI channel also sent me to an empty channel. I typed it the way you spelled it and the way it shows on your channels. Still trying to find a good overview setup that accommodates general, mission running, salvaging, mining, and pvp.
