Glad to have foldables that are closer to 1.1k rather than the ridiculous 1.9/2k. If I'm paying a grand I expect the best. This is tech not fashion, the name doesn't carry the same extra expense appeal like LV or Dior. It needs to have the stuff to back up the price.

And then they make sure the OS never updates just to force you to keep buying a phone of that same price next seven years later. It's just electronic waste at this point I cant choose a phone knowing it will be out of date in seconds

Hopefully we start getting budget midrange foldables with focus on performance, software experience and battery life for those who are not too focused on having the best cameras ever in a smartphone. The price of entry is still steep but for 1k ish pricing the tecno is tempting especially with stylus support

The price is okay considering that their target market is mostly business professionals. I am very impressed with Tecno of late the quality and battery life of their phones are exemplary. Very easy to use and not so entirely dependent on Google is a plus for me. The only issue is the bloat ware you really don't need and can't get rid of like GenieX. Thank you so much for your unbiased reviews as always much appreciated to have a realistic opinion.

my first phone was phantom v fold which was a very fun phone, but the battery they claim is nowhere near good it drains like anything, and the phone gets very very hot. after 5-6 months of use the front screen went bank all of a sudden and there is no technical support from them

Uncle spurt funny thing about Tecno the IP rating on their phones is usually more than they publish. I use a Tecno phone and even though it has no IP rating I ve punished the phone with heavy rain and wet surfaces and nothing happens to it
