Great to see more competition in the Foldable space! This seems like a great phone for the price but the 2 Years of Updates is a deal breaker... for the price, you've come to expect atleast 4 years.. Wish that Tecno would improve on that.

He will receive 15 androids only next year, and most likely by the end of the year (judging by the policy of updates of the first generation Tecno Phantom V Fold), when competitors will already receive the 16th version of the android, and will receive the 16th version already in 2026- this is generally unlikely if he lives to see this.

Wow, such a calm and understandable voice. As a non native english, ty. I have no arguement about tecno' hardware, but software is a different issue, i mean tenshen group is still prone to many ads. Great vid.

Yeah they should have gone with a newer processor, but theres absolutely nothing wrong with this one because unless you're looking for something to complain about you'll not be able to find one. And benchmarks usually differ from real world use.

I like the upgrade with their UI, I hope they keep upgrading. Hopefully there can third party cases that allow you to carry the pen along with the phone. Although It'll be hard to find one because tecno isn't as popular as the big boys.

The problem with the Chinese companies Tecno, Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme, and Vivo isn't hardware. It's always software, and it shows. The 2 years of software updates is a deal breaker for an 1,100$ phone. Moreover, yes their hardware is solid, but their ecosystem is crap.

I really doubt techno will improve in the key areas that make a person go out and buy a foldable. First of all, they should have used the Snapdragon Gen 2 not the processor they put in there which is lame cheap and makes the phone slow and second of all if you're going to make people happy and hype them keep your promise on OS updates and don't fail them with none like the first one but on their second generation at $1,099 and they're only promising two major updates when Samsung's foldable is more expensive yet. They're giving more major OS updates with security patches that is a deal breaker on a phone that promises a lot of AI features and great Hardware features as well at a decent price, but will not give more than two major OS updates.
