Great bike but yes get some gloves. I broke both hands and both wrist when I hit a deer at 50 miles per hour in October of 21 with my 2015 V-Star 950. I went flying off the bike and Instinctively used my hands to stop. I totaled the bike. Now I ride my 2015 Honda Shadow which was my backup bike.

Sorry to hear that men

If you're landing hard enough to break your hands and wrists, gloves aren't going to do anything to stop that.

Motorcycle parking only is as close to VIP as I'll ever get so I take advantage when I can. Haha Nice video and sound of the bike!

i have a 04 shadow. why do you hold onto the left handle bar like that? im pretty new to riding
@YerGoodBuddyKeith6 ай бұрын
To stretch. It's a goofy thing some of us cruiser guys do. We'll stick our feet on the tank, I've reached behind me to my sissy bar and "surfed" my shadow. Not recommended. Very fun. Some guys have the "spirit"and ride with no gear and do silly things that risk our life. It's addictive if you've got that personality. It's hard to ride normal after you've started kicking your pegs and slapping your bars. Shadows are nice for that. Light, cheap, reliable, and you can have so much fun with the throttle with less risk of consequences.

04s a good year. Which model of shadow? I've got a 99 ace this time around. 750. My first was a 98 ace 1100 shaft. My chain driven 750 I much prefer.

Without a fuel gauge how do you know when you need gas
@RockstarGamingRG7 ай бұрын
The fuel tank has a switch with 3 different positions, on, off, and reserve. When running the bike normally keep it on, and when the bike is low on gas it will begin to run out, and the rider switches it to reserve. The bike will ride normal again and the rider knows they have about 15 minutes before they’re fully out of gas
@YerGoodBuddyKeith6 ай бұрын
That's the last resort method. Every reserve section is different and you may not have a full reserve due to it spilling out of the "cup" that is the reserve. That's how my shadows tank is anyway. What you do it rest your trip every fill up. I get 150 miles with aggressive riding, then I'll run out and have to switch to reserve. I very rarely hit my reserve. If you know you're bike, can keep track of miles then a gas gauge isn't needed. I have to do the same thing with my jeep because the sending unit is busted.

clicked to hear the engine revs vs speed. But verbosity prevents.
