Great insights, thank you! We were in Estonia from 2018 to 2020. They have quite friendly procedure for startup founder too, but like most country; immigration and residency involve many parties. While the party that marketed Estonia as a startup heaven, the new silicon valley kind of; some other parts of the government may not think the same and so were some people I guess. My Iranian co-founder have since bailed to Germany, and I took my family back to Malaysia at the height of covid. Time to try again and pick another country; lemme go check my piggy bank 😅

Your take is quite informative. I wish more KZbinrs would put the same effort into producing a video. Anyway, thank you for explaining where it's better for entrepreneurs, Portugal or Spain!

Please do more videos. You are so good at it. You actually talk about things that really matter and not the usual bullshit about money and property. Pretty please :)

Good day, I am also considering moving to Portugal through the D2 visa. Please do you know if i would have to take a language test for Portugal?
@girlgoeshigh Жыл бұрын
No, there’s no language requirement
@mrMacGoover Жыл бұрын
So you need several thousands of dollars for the entrepreneur visa application?
@SofyaBarth Жыл бұрын
did you apply for the D-7 visa? while you were on a tourist visa?
@girlgoeshigh Жыл бұрын
When you’re inside the country (Portugal or Spain) you skip the visa part and apply directly for the residence permit. But if you need a visa to enter the country, you can apply for one. Startup visa for Portugal is D2
@achatterjee6531 Жыл бұрын
@@girlgoeshigh That's very useful. So u apply to the incubator, get accepted, get iapmei letter and then go to portugal on a Schengen visa and apply for a residence permit. Right?

Did anybody here got a respond? we are waiting for 7 months, actually we don't know a single person that was approved in the past 7 months. Some people say IAMPEI halted the process and don't really review applications at all, it's all on hold. Not sure if it's true. I dont think any process should take 7 months, especially not a "startup" one where you need to move fast. Strange.
