I just got the DVD from Redbox and watched "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness". As soon as Professor Xavier said that line I recognized it. It's a great line, and holds a lot of truth.

@@walmartpimp2 No. I prefer "old fashioned" stuff.😄 But really, I always just get the DVD for movies. It is simpler for me because I can't afford new stuff like 4k DVD players and whatnot.🙂

If things improve for you and you can comfortably afford it, I recommend getting a 4K OLED TV and a 4K-Blu-ray Player. 4K Blu-Ray has 20 times the resolution of a DVD. It and It Chapter 2 look phenomenal on 4K Blu-Ray. The Suicide Squad looks phenomenal on 4K Blu-Ray, check it out if you ever get the chance.

I mean sure the line is great but it has no meaning in this film. Charles is talking about dr strange in this scene and we have to assume he is talking about our dr strange who has done nothing wrong he hasnt stumbled or lost his way he hasnt had a chance they fucking drugged him before he could even cast a spell for fuck sakes. And lets stretch it and say charles is referring to their doctor strange who used the dark hold. This would not work either. He used the dark hold to save the universe and didn't know it caused an incursion and when he did he renounced the dark hold and reported to his team of the consequences. Then they used the book of eshanti to defeat Thanos. Then they killed their strange because in their own words they said "we knew what our strange was capable of" They execute their strange because he has free will and could turn evil even know when he realised the dark hold was bad he stopped. Charles using this line has not meaning beyond hyping the fans it is all just bait

I wish I could take credit for the thought, but I came across a comment somewhere that really sums this up. In Doctor Strange 2, the Illuminati vote to OBLITERATE their version of Strange even AFTER he came clean about dream walking, swore it off, found the Book of Vishanti and helped them defeat Thanos, and the movie has the absolute gall to end this scene with THIS line? So much for second chances for their Strange huh?
