I just finished watching this porch time and can relate to it. I try and talk to folks about what is happening and their eyes roll back in their heads. They think that ole woman is crazy. I have started a small raised bed and will start an in ground garden for the fall. God has blessed us with an abundance of blueberries this year and I'm praying for rain to plump them up. I will have enough to share with others this year not just the birds. I have not prepared as much a i need to as the last 7 years has been taking care of my husband and our home. He had 8 strokes. It is just Paul and we were not blessed with children and have no family left. I know God will take care of us and will give me the strenght to get a coop built and a garden going. I just wish I hadn't wsited until 63 to do it. Thank you again for taking your time way from getting Pecan Grove for us. May God continue to bless you and Wanda.

You hit the nail on the head when you said that people can't expect to continue their present day lifestyle. Instead of a wall of generators, we have two to keep the electric freezers going until I can use the propane cooker to get as much as possible into jars. I shake my head when I see people thinking that they can rely totally on solar power, I don't know where the sun shines every day, it certainly doesn't where I live. And others thinking that they can feed their families solely with the canned food from the store.....good luck to them, especially if they already have medical conditions like high blood pressure. If you have land, plant a garden. Word to the wise...Do NOT put all your eggs in one basket.

When I sat down to watch your porch time this morning, and your message to us began, my mouth dropped. That feeling came over me, I know most of you know, that GOD is in the process of answering my prayers of just a few hours ago. Then that weird feeling I've been experiencing, anxiety etc, hard to describe, for a few weeks went away. I smiled through the rest of the video. Then the tears came. Danny, you are one of the very few on this earth blessed to be a mouthpiece for our Lord. Thank you seems insufficient this morning. WE in Milwaukee are getting as much rain. It's filling ponds that didn't even exist, but my garden has doubled in about a weeks time. That's the best sermon I've heard in years. Praise God and thank you.

Loved this morning's message my favorite verse and it's proved over many years to be true. PSALM 37:25: I have been young, and now I am old; yet, I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread. For many months I have been very sick with a thyroid condition but finally getting stronger every day on my first constant medication at 69 years old. I said all of that to say this, I found myself worrying about getting my meds if things got worse. After everything GOD taught me over the years in HIS word along with proof of His faithfulness time after time, I was fretting over something I couldn't control. I'm having to take another look at my faith and pray that HE strengthens my weakness.

We have prayed for certain guidance and changes for a couple of years now always ending with Thy will be done. We knew it would happen in HIS time. In the past 3 months its like bam, bam, bam ,bam. Greetings Danny. Glad getting the little bits of rain there. I just got power again after 3 inches of rain in an hour. It's good practice to be content with the times I have. It's nice your getting things started and done as you'd like them in the new shop. You and Wanda have such big hearts and very giving. You give so much to others in so many ways. The solar cycles do have a major affect on people and other things going on. I relate. When I talk to my youngest daughter about this at times is like talking to the wall so far. Truly God allows what is happening to happen. Living on a limited income and sure I always want to prepare more but the good Lord has provided all I need daily! Staying prepared in Him and letting His peace rule is ultimate. Thanks Danny for sharing your wisdom in order that folks can be prepared in Him and stay Calm in Him.

I like the bench and other things that you have built. Maybe if you find some free time - some building tips would be awesome. Things like how to cut and measure for angles. Best way to sink bolts/drill without splitting wood. Must jave tools etc. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for that.

God helps those who help themselves. Have long been a "Noah"... it took time to build the ark and watching how folks are now realizing that its going to "rain" as WE all told them so, brings no joy in being proved right. My raised bed project got finished this weekend. The effort to plant cold crops in February and cover has paid off... im 4 weeks ahead in food on the table. I put these beds over great soil but where i had weed issues i couldn't fight anymore. i put down cardboard, then weed fabric, then bark mulch. I am considering building another 5 more beds to set in the fall. I might not be able to control the weather but i can control our fresh food production by starting early and going to November... 2 to 3 months farther than most. As a warning to all gulf regional folks... the volcanic sea mounts have generated very warm water from Mexico to North Africa .. hurricane season will come as a lion this year.

Yes, I have experienced mold four feet up my sheetrock. Got eight inches of water in my house during Katrina. It was closed with no AC for three weeks until we could get back in. I grew up in New Orleans with my grandparents and we had no AC. I may have to pitch a tent under the Oak tree in my yard if we loose power for extended time. I am thankful for that tree.

Try this if you find yourself stressing or anxious. Tilt your head back and look up. Let your eyes look up. Thos is a physical thing. This is not look up your redemption drawth nigh. Physically lean your head backwards and look up, make your eyes roll up towards your forehead. You should feel instant relief.

What you describe is boiled down to two choices. You can have the mind of Christ or be given over to a reprobate mind. I challenge people to compare 1 Corinthians 2 to Romans 1. Yes we are in a God cycle, sadly the corrupt powers know that more than we do and use it to land grab and depopulate. But God gives us wisdom, IF we chose to learn of Him. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He is in my "boat" and you can have perfect peace IF your mind is stayed on Him, or the tradegy of you do not want to retain Him in your knowledge. Amen Danny! Do not fear! Even in the church people are in a state of doom and gloom. It’s all they talk about, and they wonder why their life is in chaos. I’m far from perfect, but I do trust Yah will take care of His people. I also believe we have to do our part and prepare. I can every bit that we get, feed the chickens what we can’t eat or can. Good 'mornin'! I like your message, Mr. Danny. I'll never understand why so many homesteaders panic. My hubby and I are hobby homesteaders. Yes, I love to keep our freezers full, but we don't need to grow our own food. It just tastes better. Same with raising our own meat. People listen to too many conspiracy theorists. Stuff is going to happen whether you're prepared or not.

Really great video Danny! Thankyou! I have learned alot from you and Ms Wanda! Love her photography too! Having to have cancer surgery this summer on my left lung. Praying Jesus will be with me during and after as I get blood clots easy and dont want that!! I know it was his time to go but lost a friend who had heart sugery at that VA hospital over on Seattle but died the note before he was supposed to come home from blood clots in his thighs. I have to have part of my left lung taken out at that Same hospital to get rid of a centimeter and a half of cancer. Wont do chemo or radiation. That radiation killed my aunt then my dad so no way. So I pray it wont be my time to go cause I am only 69 and tho disabled , still jave alot of living to do!! Pray for me please! Just hoping Jesus doesnt tale me home yet.❤
