I have this feeling that Boris managed to get rid of the last intelligent Tory as he was afraid of being callenged, so there you sit with the most wortless Tory in charge. Wouldn't it be nice if the minimum wage set by any government was also the minimum wage those in government had to live by. Wouldn't it be nice if upon becoming a politician at what ever level, you forfeit any land assets and properties you own. And are forced to live in the "affordable housing" you promised thousands of people. Wouldn't it be nice if you were unable to benefit from any shares you previously owned. And therfore saw no benefit in allowing business to push profits over people. Wouldn't it be nice to have a group of leaders with no alternative motives who shared the burden of the policies they enact . Wouldn't it be nice if just for once the people who claim to have our best interests at heart, actually did.

Now you understand why the other half is NOT conservative. "The market" has and will always be a cassino, a riggled one in the favor of the elites. Interesting Liz Truss story: One of my family is a civil servant. One of her colleagues was working with/for Liz Truss in the last couple of years. This colleague is going to pick up lunch and asks Liz Truss, do you want anything? Truss says yes so the colleague comes back with a sandwich/meal thing. The cost was £6.99, say £7 the colleague says to Truss. Truss precedes to something like "£6,99? Oh I actually have the exact £6.99 for you." And proceeds to dole out the exact change including coppers and not a penny more to the apparently, quite suprised colleague. There you have it... Our Prime Minister, so generous as not to give a penny more to someone who goes out of their way to do them a favour. How many of us would say, ah, I'll give you the £7 to save you rolling around with my change and for your effort.

@@krashd Rishi was a self-made multi-millionaire. Keep that in mind. He wasn't born into wealth. He built himself up into a successful person. People who made themselves successful can make other things successful as well.

Cutting taxes will decrease govts revenue and raising interest rates will cause recession. So the govts measures are totally illogical and it's similar to Sri Lankan govts policies which brought them the present severe economic crisis. If the British govt does not reverse their policies, then Britain too could become another Sri Lanka with very Lil hope of recovery and in worse case scenario plunge to a point of no return. Beware 😏😒😒
