It might be kind of lame but I’m curious who the best back up QBs in the NFL are (stats wise I guess). My guess would be Jake Browning or possibly Gardner Minshew, but it’s probably pretty subjective because some guys might be pretty good but never play. Anyway, just a thought.

This is why I don't pay any attention to mock drafts. They have ne bearing on what will actually happen or how players will develop at the next level. @powerofk5 ай бұрын
@@ScottFisherCFB Yeah, no kidding. Though, it looks like this was an EARLY mock draft. As in, made shortly after the regular season ended in college. The reason I say that? The mock draft had the Lions drafting first, but the Lions ended up winning a few games down the stretch and ended up drafting second instead. Hutch had a good year that year, but it was the College Football Playoff that showed him as “can’t miss.” And the Lions ended up being happy with Goff’s year-end turnaround.

13:50 No NFL teams had him as the first overall pick. In fact most had him as a 5th round pick. It was commentators on KZbin & guys in the media that saw black QB and tried to make him fit the Patrick Mahomes mold. No offense but calling it the Patrick Mahomes effect is basically saying we saw a black guy with a similar skill set in college so we assumed he’d play like Patrick Mahomes lol. It would be like taking some halfway decent QB out of Kennesaw State shortly after Josh Allen was drafted, predicting he was 1st overall because he played somewhat similar in college and was white then calling it the Josh Allen effect 😆
