The Half-Life series had a lot of content that did not make it into the retail game. Valve do however have a habit of reusing content in later games and tech demos. Lost Coast was used to show off the HDR capablities of the Source Engine. There may have been some lost lore there in the forgotten fishing village of St. Olga.
Where was this location? What was the story there, and where was it originally meant to be featured in Half-Life 2? In this video, we explore the lore and story behind The Lost Coast in Half-Life and what it meant for Valve and Half-Life fans.
