Ok some of these are practical, but I feel like unless you got a electrician certification and degree or you have a friend who has all the degrees and certifications of a electrician who teaches you these things, then I feel this can break your tv. I feel this is a fire hazard, I feel like a theater technician would be better at doing this than you; but still would need the certifications. If it still works after 6 months to a year, then MAYBE you’re on to something; but I won’t accept that without video/evidential data showing that it’s functioning properly. Although if I’m being realistic, I give this 3 months until it starts acting up!

@@eddyrosyadie9925 that is no offense a stupid response, the tv is connected to electricity; which powers anything in the back of her tv. It connects to some amount of voltage, and any cable type slot she puts it into. Any cable box you buy needs power, just like the tv needs it to connect to the antennas to broadcast tv channels. It’s a risk regardless if it’s not directly connected to the main electricity point!!

if you want local hd channels over dvbt, you just need a coax cable with a connector to your tv. If you want more channels, like international you would need satellite or subscription to a service, or you can also watch tv over internet. All denpending on your needs

Putting voltage into an RF inlet is a good way to be looking for a new TV! And on top of that you did not insulate your positive from the foil wrap which will cause a direct short and possibly a fire. NOT A GOOD IDEA!!!
