You do make gallery quality, especially since each piece is unique in addition to being excellently designed and excellently crafted. People like this wood because it has texture, color, and grain. You add the shape and finish. This kind of piece IS a piece of art for the entry hall, occasional table, sunroom, or outdoor party. 👍

That was really kind of you to work with a wood that you don't much like, to please your fans. It was very interesting to hear how you made your decisions, especially how you chose which side would be the top. You made a nice little bowl with beautiful grain and you can have fun seeing where the bugs did their bug stuff.

There are a bunch of your pieces of art that I think are museum quality. I think if you did a gallery showing in a big city you sell them they are so gorgeous, no they are GORGEOUS !!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Another solid 15/10. If I had a lathe and could turn, I would be sneaking to your place and procuring some of that wonderful wood. I would love to see it with resin. I would turn the wood with and without resin. I love it.

Not bad for "junk wood" -- looks great! Thanks, as always, for showing me what a master can do. Appreciate it!

I like the spalting, color and shape. I'd love to see more shine on it, though.

One man's junk is another man's treasure. Ñot the best thing that's ever come off your lathe, but still a very attractive little bowl. I think I said once before that God made very few boring trees, and this certainly wasn't one of them. Just ask the worms, they apparently found it quite interesting and in turn made it even more so. The way the dust was coming off that piece I expected it to grenade into a cloud at any moment. Well done, Phil.

🙋‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Hi Phil it's amazing how you turn an inspiring piece of "junk wood" into a bowl, grain colours and Spalding is something else. I didn't like you going silent on me towards the end though but glad to got you voice back finally. Keep it up. Thanks Phil.

I just thought I would try something different, John, so I gave you the silent treatment. 😊 I don't think it will be a permanent feature. Thanks for watching!
