when you go to boot camp, try to fly under the radar... the more they notice you not moving fast enough, not following instructions, not sounding off as loud as you can, they will single you out and fuck with you... they will fuck with everyone, but the more you blend in to the crowd, the less they will target you specifically... but everyone fucks up, our platoon guide got caught buying a Pepsi from one of the vending machines, while he was off on a working party or some shit, and they made him stand in the middle of the squad bay, in front of us all, and drink his warm can of Pepsi, with tears of embarrassment streaming down his face... good luck to you

MARSOC belong to (SOCOM) Recon Marines are "special operations CAPABLE" (strictly operating under USMC) 1942 - Raiders founded during WWII 1944 - Raiders were disbanded, personnel assimilated into other units. 1950s - Recon Marines were founded 2005 - MARSOC formed, and 2 recon companies were absorbed into the MARSOC. 2014 - MARSOC Marines were granted with the title of "Marine Raiders" 2015 - MARSOC Units are officially rebranded and renamed in honor and tributes to Marine Raiders.

To all the marines out there. I’m a 13 year old who wants to be a marine. I was diagnosed with diabetes about 3 years ago. Is there any possibility, ANY possibility for me to become a marine?

While not all medical conditions disqualify a person from joining the military, many do, and any type of diabetes generally does. Developing diabetes while already serving in the military, however, is not automatic grounds for separation (retirement) from the military.
