I never claimed to have read the novel, I am writing my theory based on how they did him in the anime. This is a video on the anime after all. Arata just comes across as creepy to me. I'm glad he brought her to Kiyoka and left her with him after he was injured, but he's still a creep. They're first cousins and he wants to marry her. Also, how weird is it to only marry your close relatives? 🤢 So gross.
