Much safer than paint stripper, but what would happen on porcelain finish bathtubs and toilets and how well would it react to polyurethane and epoxies finished items ,I will try spot cleaning on them possibly, let you know something later, I've been using vinegar and dishwashing liquid for years and feel confident you have something here.

First i thought you are trying to remove the rust from the threaded rod. But where is the need or meaning to remove the powder coating paint of the car jack? You should have taken another meaningful example like window paint or other paint partly damaged to show you strip the old paint surface to repaint. Unless tested can't say anything. Paint at times smear to wrong places. It could be an example for you to show us removing that smeared paints.

Why waste everyone's time with a fake work. If you invested the same time in learning a little chemistry you could at least avoid the massive embarrassment of suggest vinegar which is 95% water will mix with a non-polar material like Vaseline. Then applying the resulting mixture to a painted surface and then suggesting it can soften paint which neither vinegar (95% water + acetic acid) or Vaseline can do shows you have little knowledge of chemistry or nature.
