Yep, it was one charge on ECO. I do run on on MAX most days. I use 2 batteries on MAX. I have a little over 1/3 of an acre.

When are you going to be able to unveil the stripe? You’re one of the testers right?
@jkprojectsnstuff697 Жыл бұрын
I'm not a tester, I just made some Toro 60V Super Recycler videos. I don't have the Toro striper kit, but I made my own.

What's the battery life like with the performance blade and the motor on auto?
@jkprojectsnstuff6973 жыл бұрын
I've never tried it. Maybe next week I'll see what happens with that combo. If I were to guess, the run time would only be slightly less, maybe 5 minutes less than with the economy blade.

What do you think about the Personal Pace system. I have a smaller yard and not sure about how it will handle tights spaces
@jkprojectsnstuff6973 жыл бұрын
In this video you'll see me using one hand to maneuver around by the woods and by our paver wall. I find it very easy to get around tight spaces. Nice thing is, right under your palms (by your thumbs) is the main handle frame. A lot of times I'll shift my hands off of the personal pace bar and onto the bar below to turn the mower. I've mowed with it maybe 7-8 times now and don't even think about it anymore. Thanks for the comment and hope this helps!

@@jkprojectsnstuff697 I use the same technique for tight spots with no issue whatsoever. The personal pace is so intuitive I don't even think about it. Great machine, it comes with the 7.5ah and does my 50 x 130 foot lot with only two bars of power with the performance blade in the Auto setting. I would highly recommend this machine.

It’s not the best if you tend to go back and fourth a lot as the drive system gets hung up. There’s a trick where you let off pressure on the handle, thumb on the frame, and let it coast for a second before you pull back and it’s gotten easier to do with practice. Personally I would never want to go without Personal Pace on a mower ever again. Overall feel is just that good.

If you want a clean cut with no grass left on the lawn and clippings in the rear bag, you NEED to use a high-lift blade. the high-lift blade also keeps the motor at the higher speed (RPM) much better cutting... It picked up everything and it sucked up so much stuff.. Get the high lift on the Toro.!! what a better cut. Yes, the battery time is reduced, but heck I could get all my lawn cut on a single charge at the higher RPM's so... However, your mileage may verry.

Just subscribed after seeing your videos on this mower. I’ve been thinking of getting the same one. Do you recommend it?

Thank you for subscribing! It is very encouraging to see new subscribers. I would definitely recommend the 60V Super Recycler to anyone. The only thing that bothers me, and it's not a huge deal, is the suction power. Someone commented on one of our other videos about getting the high-lift blade for better suction. He said it's a game changer. Ours is on its way, and we hope to do a video on it soon. Thanks again!

@@jkprojectsnstuff697 awesome! I look forward to seeing it! I’ve been going back and forth between the 22” 60V Recycler and the 21” 60V Super Recycler. It’s like a $200 price difference. But seems like the Super can mow taller, has the cast aluminum deck and comes with the 7.4 ah battery. But it’s only 21”. Do you think it’s worth the price difference?

@@TheLawngineer When I read that the 60V Super Recycler was coming out, I went back and forth for several months and almost got the Recycler. Every time I mentioned that I may just go pick up a 60V Recycler, my wife would remind me not to settle on something that may disappoint me. I'm glad she talked me out of it. I have the 60V snowblower (BEAST!) and chainsaw, also. I think the price difference is fair and well worth it. You get Toro's better mulching design, which seems to be a consensus among mower forums and groups. You get the bigger battery, the AUTO and MAX setting option, better wheels with bearings, and an extra blade (performance). I've had it for 8 weeks or so and still find myself walking out to the garage just to take a quick peek at it!
