I've only used Corsair's QL fans, so I wasn't aware if any other models had the same issue.

@@viggo_k8656 my QL120’s when I have set to 1 color 1 led on multiple fans turns a different color then what I set them to. The LL 120’s I have randomly flash different colors.

Do you mean 'dye' or 'die' but more to the point, what do you mean and the green does what?

The RGB LEDs inside of an RGB fan are responsible for the colorful lighting, and each LED uses three different dies, one is responsible for the color red, one is responsible for the color green and one is responsible for the color blue, hence the term RGB. The problem with the QL fans is that the green dies, which are responsible for the green color of the LEDs, break very quickly, causing one or several LEDs to be unable to make a green color.

The 3 pack of fans comes with one set of cables and a controller, you can buy cable kits and single cables, as well as single pack of fans, these are also the same fans used on the AIO rads for the ICUE line.

Very cool fans, but atm they have a HUGE RED BLINKING PROBLEM. It is a bug that when you run some games the fans start to blink red led. PLEASE FIX IT WITH A LINK FIRMWARE UPDATE!

The camera they used causes the hotspots to be more visible, but it's way less noticable in real life

@@DerpishBird I own a bunch of QL120 RGB fans, and their hotspots are barely noticable, even without a glass side panel. Corsair has probably improved their diffusion layers over time, so I'd assume their new link fans will have good diffusion layers as well.
