It does make sense to use a song from Undertale here, both games have fairly similar "defense" mechanics, where you (or a small shape that represents you) has to avoid dangerous themed "bullets" which occur at a predetermined time and place, requiring a lot of precision for both games. Anyway, this is excellent, to say the least! The remix matches JSAB's 'feel', whilst staying quite true to the original.

So copyright isn’t the reason these levels were originally scrapped, it was because it wasn’t up to the devs’ standards if I remember correctly. Weird reason but I’m pretty sure that’s why

Yeah, there's a couple sources that say it was cut due to it not being up to the devs' standards (one being the wiki), but I can't find anything that proves that. "We had to cut the 'Cavern world' for @shapesnbeats. A world with a unique songs from @_KUBBI, lotsa [sic] story telling and a minigame. But I do not regret it a bit. The game would have suffered a lot." That quote is from Lachhh on Twitter, but that doesn't really sound like "standards", it sounds like they chose not to pack too much into one game, as this chapter would've made the others suffer, which is why I said "pacing" instead of "time constraints".

I was taking a break from storymode and was doing challenges when the game gave me this for the first time and I went "oh shit" because I was still learning to better time my dashes. I died twice near the end, but managed to beat it without a game over and with a B. @@acronixdoesthings la danse macabre was the easiest for me, when the boss did the thing with the scythes i just went to the bottom at dashed whenever a scythe came towards me and scythes dont go to the bottom most of the time.

Me, seeing the name of the song "Spider Dance": Heh, is like Muffet's theme, it would be funny that it was rem- *song starts playing* Me:.... This plasters a smile on my face (Spider Dance is my third favourite Undertale theme and, in all the pacifist route, Muffet's boss fight is my favourite, not counting final bosses)
