My whole issue with comments like "all fat people overeat" is that it is totally untrue! It is judging others without knowing their history or medical history. Yes, I agree that MOST people who are obese are that way because of poor lifestyle choices or overeating. But not all obese people are obese from overeating! There are some who gain weight from diseases, medications, cancers etc. Besides, what size someone is is no one else's concern. Obesity is a serious issue that stems from many sources, including our food industries, mental health issues etc. It is time to stop bullying over weight people and start accepting others for who they are, not what they look like! Body positivity is not promoting obesity or over eating, it is learning to love one's self and having positive self esteem. Feeling good about yourself helps motivate you into making positive lifestyle changes that are needed for healthy weight control.

For whatever reason of all issues, I tend to think being overweight is the most "socially acceptable" condition for people to criticize and judge with disdain. I'm fat and even my own relatives do it. Not just to me when they are angry or want to say something hurtful, but also to,people they don't even know. It makes me sad.
