Ya. That's exactly how I learn stuff. Six feet away where I can't see anything. Seriously? This is the best strut removal video the internet has for 9th gen? Might as well just wing it.

I just pick up eibach pro-kit for my 2015 si coupe. Never done this before, but I'm planning on installing these with my brother since it looks easy enough.
@procivic6 жыл бұрын
The rear should be pretty much the same, but the front will require disassembly of the strut. Should be pretty straightforward Hopefully you enjoy them!

Ok going to be doing this on Sat, thnx!

How do i remove the whole shock and spring form 2014 accord
@jeffmerz35952 ай бұрын
Lol those rear shock bolts are NOTORIOUS for being seized into the bushing and have to be cut out. If only it was that easy

I own a civicLX 2014 sir, I just wanna know if its better to change my suspension from mcpherson strut to coilover?
@procivic6 жыл бұрын
This will depend on what you wish to do with the vehicle. The coilovers are better for handling and performance. The stock suspension is simple and is (objectively) more comfortable. It would be up to you to decide what you wish out of the car.

PRO Car Studio appreciate the reply sir, one more question sir if which should I do first change wheels or suspension?

Hey Rudy I have a really stupid question did you guys ever replace the rear factory subwoofer on the 9th gen civic with a better one I been trying to find someone or a video that shows them replacing it but no one has. Just wondering thanks. Keep the videos going. Big fan☝🏼
@procivic7 жыл бұрын
Hey, unfortunately we have not replaced the factory subwoofer nor do we have any plans on changing it out. Sorry :( Thanks for asking though! We're always happy to help answer questions.

Does the rear spring have to come out just to remove the shock?
@procivic7 жыл бұрын
No, it should not be necessary to remove the springs.
@eternalzxzpayne59842 жыл бұрын
Or, if you have to, for some reason, wouldn't it be easier to use a spring compressor?

Hey Rudy can I put regular civic loaded struts for coupe on a si? I can’t find loaded struts for the si just bare struts
@procivic6 жыл бұрын
+Balla1309able It will depend on the generation and what year to what year. The suspension on the 9th gen si is slightly different between the regular and si. Even if it matches, we don't recommend it. The si comes with a slightly lowered and stiffer spring from the factory and the shocks are stiffer than the regular models as well. The performance would drop if this is done.

I am having the same issue finding factory style front struts for my Canadian 2013 civic si sedan. Can you shine any light on this issue. I really don't wanna put another set of coils in the car

Watching a video taken from several feet away while he’s pointing to hidden bolts and sway bars is of little help. Often, the trickiest part of a job is removing and replacing trim……also not shown very well. This is a marginally helpful video for me.

Horrible video. Due to your camera placement we cannot see exactly what you’re doing and on top of that we have to listen to some music from a 70’s porn flick.

Would truharts shocks and struts and lowering springs be good a replacement for stock suspension. I wanna lower my car but I’m 90k miles into my stock suspension so I’m a lil worried the springs are going to wear them down faster. I can’t afford the coilovers I want right now
@procivic5 жыл бұрын
I you are lowering more than an inch, the TruHart shocks would work perfectly for that.
@JoseLopez-vp8vu5 жыл бұрын
PRO Car Studio yeah I was thinking h&r springs with the truharts . Thanks you
