When I discovered Daft Punk, I was about 7 years old and I fell in love. It was sad to see them go, and I never did get to see them in person, but I believe they left their footprints for others, and the trail is just waiting to be followed.

Same here! I thank my cousin, because she got me into them and we listened to their music a lot. We’d watch the music videos and she’d explain the storyline that was Interstellar 5555, and I revisited their music during 2020, and fell in love again….

I’m 16 (turning 17 this year) and my brother introduced me to Daft Punk at a really young age, maybe at like 4 or 5, but I really got into them at 8 because of the iDaft game (and because my brother kept blasting a lot of Daft Punk music when RAM came out). I came back to them at 11 and discovered more of their music and fell in love with it! 😁 We are young people of culture

I think the reason it hurt so much is because of how they just became robots over the years. We loved their stories. We loved their blinking lights. We loved their voices. We loved their music. Why, oh why did they have to make Epilogue so disheartening? We all watched Thomas self destruct and it just felt too much like a real loss.
