Such a great video. There's not a lot of info or experiences based on sexual health as a career. Very interesting to see how it can be part of GP practice. What about the diploma in HIV? I know it might sound a little far fetched but do you think it is something GPs could do to perhaps work some days in a local HIV clinic?

Hi! Thanks for watching and for your comment! There is a diploma in HIV medicine - www.apothecaries.org/diploma-in-hiv-medicine/ however as a GP you may be able to run GUM/HIV clinics in a hospital/shared care with a consultant in the community. It might be worth contacting Dr. Aman via his social media channels (in description box) and/or the worshipful society of apothecaries for further info. Hope that helps!

Is there scope as a GP to do clinics in a sexual health clinic? I appreciate the pay won't be the same as GP rate per session, and your position would effectively be trust grade?
