The Pat McGrath essence feels like a capitalizing on the moment situation to me. I love PMG and she is a revolutionary makeup artist, so a makeup line for her makes sense.. is iconic… aspirational… all of the things. For her brand to branch into Skincare? It makes sense. But it feels grabby.

In my skincare routine, I use a rotation of essences. I use them after I cleanse my face. An essence can be used to restore moisture, to provide probiotics (depending on the type and its ingredients) and it aids in helping my daytime serums penetrate better. I have a t-zone that gets oily still at 62 years young. I have some dry areas by the sides of my mouth and on the sides of my face at the sides of my eyes. Because I have used Korean and Japanese skincare for over 15+ years, my skin is in very good shape and I will always use essences.

Your hair and eyes look sooo GORGEOUS I am mesmerized. I don’t really care about all that skincare. I LOVE the Huda stick foundation that is FABULOUS on my skin. I have very cool fair skin and that light balm would be to dark for me even if I had a tan. I would have tried it if it was much lighter. I used to never use an essence, but I picked up the CosRX snail mucin essence during the Ulta 21 days of beauty. I’ve been using it since and my skin has been loving it! With that being said… I don’t think I would want to spend PMG prices for an essence. Especially when there is a great option for a lesser price that I know my skin likes.

I like a couple of Huda products. I like her lipstick, I adore my Mercury in Retrograde palette.. BUT.. her skincare products (Wishful) are amazing. My favorite is the cleansing balm, it has become my HG. I have normal to dry skin and that balm is so creamy and butter soft.. it feels great on the skin..Her moisturizers are very nice as well.

Quick tip, a gel moisturizer is good for summer and in the desert climate, too! I can get a tad oily in the summer (usually dry skin) and need something a little lighter during that time, I live in Arizona!

I always use an essence. Twice a day. Missha or CosRx are my faves. It’s actually the very first thing I use after I wash my face so I found it interesting that it’s the first product and numbered 001. Guess we’ll just have to see what comes next. Have a feeling this will be WAY out of my $25 “essence budget” 🤣

I wonder if the Jones Road, which is Bobby Browns newer line, and Wayne Goss's new foundations are geared more towards aging skin? What would the benefit of a foundation balm be? Hydrating, smoothing and blendable. I watched WGs video and his definitely seems like it could be geared towards an older market. Being 53, that works for me but I like really light, skin-like products and not heavier ones.

Essence ? 🤔 Some people like it good for them if it works … I believe we are what we eat. I tend to eat real healthy mainly as in take my probiotics , collagen & bone broth & avoid sugar at all cost unless it from fruit 🍉 … I eat stuff that feeds my skin from within… A simple but really good skin care routine helps & a Monthly facial to detox the skin a must. I’d sure love to see that Wayne Goss foundation. I’ve seen a few reviews and the coverage was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Wow, it truly was beautiful and looked like skin. The video that I saw, the girl had acne prone skin and texture and it really looked great, covered her acne Without the texture look and feel she said. Are you going to review this one maybe at later time?? I think it would really look beautiful on you!!

Brit, you might to try Nabla Viper plumper if you like a stronger. I like to switch between lip injections, milk plumper, fenty heat, nabla viper. Lightest to no tingle would be fenty I think but honestly I think my lips are just used to them all. Lol.

The PM essence has my interest. Depending on the ingredients, I may just get this. Essences are so beautiful for the skin. Basically they're toners with muscles 😂😂. Seriously, as a very dry skinned person, I depend on essences. After cleansing I use different essences layered between my *** serums. Apart from accelerating the absorption rate of the serums, each essence contains a high percentage of a specific skin loving ingredient. Doing this, leaves my skin incredibly hydrated all day long. *** A very important step if using hyaluronic acid, as the HA requires added hydration. Awesome vid, thank you Sam. I challenge you to try SK II essence daily for a month and say it didn’t make much difference. I got hooked when I noticed my friend’s noticeably improved complexion and she told me she was using it. You’ll hate me though once you get hooked. It’s expensive 😝

I think you'll enjoy Jone Road's foundation balm since you have dry skin. Her products are generally very natural, creamy w/ oils. I would not recommend buying the concealer pencils, it's not worth the price and bad in my opinion (no coverage whatsoever, blends into nothing). Bought 2 shades of those, big regret.

I don't think the buxom lip glosses really plump your lip, I would prefer those over two-faced!! They happen to be $20 bucks but a lot better than $33 I always repurchase them when they're on sale for $10 a piece like they just were recently!

Great video! Lots of products that are on my wishlist now! I use an Essence in my skincare routine after my toner to make my skin moistened before I start with my skincare. I use this especially before my hyaluronic acid, because it's really important to have your skin moist before you apply it. It helps with absorption.❤❤

Jones Road is Bobbi Brown’s beauty line and the mascara she released is AMAZING ☺️ If you want a mascara that doesn’t budge and gives you great volume get it! It’s always out of stock unfortunately. I need to get another one and I check their site every day. I also get so confused when brands come out with a product that is “Luminous Matte” is it luminous or is it matte lol 😂 I would give the Huda Beauty concealer a try and I’m interested in the foundation cream from Jones Rhodes. I purchased the new Milk Makeup liquid bronzer and on me it doesn’t dry down and it’s like that Tower 28 highlighter balm where my hair gets stuck in it. Does anyone else experience this with the new Milk Makeup liquid bronzer? I wonder if I received a bad tube or if it just never dries down. I love the color but man I’m having trouble making it work.
