Thanks John. I would agree that the quality is likely at a similar level to Springbank 10 if it were younger. I have had the benefit of tasting a few of their bottles now including cask strength single casks, and everything that I have had from them is phenomenal. I'm very much looking forward to their future releases with 8+ years in the cask. Every glass I have just keeps me coming back and picking it apart.

I find the cask strength has the most wonderful grassy note on the nose , was one of my favourite drams of last year , great review 👍

Great review John I have a Bottle of Ardnamurchan cask strength open myself. Exciting things are happening at Ardnamurchan, Its a fantastic dram with complex flavour I am really enjoying it. Great review and keep them coming.

Thanks for the compliment. 🥃 The Artifcial fruit candy/hard candy is really prominent on this bottle. Beautiful stuff this Ardnamurchan is already. I still haven't opened my bottle of Ardnamurchan CS but very much looking forward to it. Mine didn't even come with the paper wrapping FWIW. I've tried various 46% batches and they're all good IMHO. I agree with you that Ardnamuchan doesn't seem heavily peated. Not really even as heavily peated as they say although it's not the first time phenol counts have misled us! I do think it's a great alternative to the now unavailable Springbank (as you suggested) and the now low strength Ardmore though. It has that same mix of light peat and funk. Great review 🥃

Others have also stated no paper wrappers… maybe retailers remove it ? Haven’t heard of anyone not enjoying their offerings. Don’t know much about their peating process except what Sidd dug up that it’s @ 35 ppm malting. Great to hear from you. Cheers 🥃

Pop on your top and Rock in the Bottle is explosive mixture which i really like it. Got this one and must say its decent stuff. I like Ardnafunk. Going to buy 09.22 CS which i heard is slightly better than 02.22 maybe because is bit older bit more matured? H2H test give an answear. P.S. keep this Map, hope it lead you to find more treasures 😁🥂🙋🏻‍♂️
