So not only was what you said not offensive in the slightest, but you had the right idea all along! 10:00 I love blueberries so that's making me kinda want the Penguin Slushy Van, even though I'm not interested in the rest of the set, just the stickers and the giant blueberry slushy sign build. 14:35 I've had success picking out the series 5 blind boxes I wanted (Hammer Bro., Baby Yoshi, Purple Toad, Waddlewing, Nabbit) by using a weight guide on reddit. There'll likely be another for series 6, see if that works for you. I'm getting Birdo and Blooper. I'm not in a hurry to get any of the upcoming LEGO sets but I'm also eyeing the new DOTS stuff, the Creative Monkeys classic set and the City Construction Digger.

It's interesting how Lego really is expressing military vehicles more in their sets. The avatar wave and the new marvel set is a very realistic depiction of a plane. You can see that as good or bad, im unsure.

There are a bunch of sets I’m hoping to buy next year. However I went through extensive character development thanks to legos price hikes. So I’m just gonna slowly buy them over the course of their lifespan on shelves. Some I will get in 2023 and some I’ll get before they leave shelves and are 20% off or more. Might be a few day one buys next year like the Lego Minecraft frog set. Otherwise I’m taking the hobby slow I’m not in a rush anymore.

CMF 24 also tops my list as I've been a completist since I think 2013. Lot of neat, fun ideas and first time accessories. As for the list Definitely getting the SC 2F2F car, and excited to see the rest of the wave. Never collected and of SMB themed sets, but the blind boxes look like absolute winners. Favorites being the Birdo, Blooper, and cat Goombas. Will also get the small otter set, as well as most the Marvel sets. Not really a fan of the mechs, but seeing Thanos with the completed Gauntlet in a set less than $20 is insane to me. Really good value there and great for anyone unable to collect all the stones up to this point at a really cheap price outside of the Advent Calendar last year.

About the Chinese New Year set, it didn't catch much my attention, although the rabbit build is pretty interesting. The first 2 released are still my favorite though. About Friends one, just like I posted before, I find them all amazing for adding stuff that the City series don't have. About Ninjago and Hero mechs, my favorite Ninjago sets are the ones featuring mechs, on the other hand I've never liked the mechs on Marvel or DC sets... About City sets, I think they fine, but I like them more because of new pieces and animals than by the sets themselves. Maybe my favorite as a whole set is the gaming one.

The only thing I’m looking forward to next year is the Jurassic Park sets (at least until I see them, I have a funny feeling I might be disappointed given TLG’s track record recently). 17:03 I kinda agree with you on this. It’s great to see licensed sets from something other than Marvel/DC/Disney. Trouble is I wish they’d not been so cautious in their approach. I mean Dom’s Dodge Charger is cool and all but it’s basically an 8 stud wide remake of set 75893. TLG really should be doing more speed champions film tie ins. There’s so much they could do here that they wouldn’t be able to otherwise. I mean why just do one James Bond car? He has a whole range of cars over the years that you could turn it into a whole sub theme! And what about other iconic film cars? The Blues Brothers Bluesmobile, a Subaru Impreza WRX from Baby Driver, a triple pack of classic Mini Coopers from the OG Italian Job, then they could recolour the classic mini and do a Mr Bean Mini, Eleanor from gone in 60 seconds, a ferarri 250gt California Spyder from Ferris Bueller, Pontiac trans am from Smokey and the bandit, a Ford Mustang from Bullitt, an AMC pacer from Wayne’s world, a Ford econoline van dressed to look like a dog from Dumb and Dumber or even chatty chatty bang bang? The list is endless and Speed Champions is a line that has such a broad appeal- from serious LEGO collector’s and AFOLs, to kids, one off gifts for adults etc etc. they could do so much with this theme but have only just started to scratch the surface with the DB5 and Dodge Charger. I mean really I think things like the 1960’s Batmobile, the Nolan trilogy Tumbler and even the GWP ‘89 Batmobile should’ve and could be included in the speed champions line. Same goes for the 2 small versions of the Ecto 1 (both the 2016 and OG versions). I would love to see them redo the OG ecto 1 in the speed champions line even if it meant less figures. Plus they could do the Ghostbusters II version with all the extra gear and lights!

@@juliancaraveo5700 the Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Jurassic Park should be coming next year just in a Jurassic Park set and not Speed Champions. I’d rather it were in a Speed Champions set though. I bought 2 of the JP Breakout sets just so I could have 2 compete JP Ford Explorers. Speed Champions is just more efficient for vehicles, everything goes into the vehicle design and nothing wasted on side builds.

I'm a City fan. The only sets from this list that I am officially buying are the garbage truck and the slushee van. I may consider the emergency vehicle headquarters, but I'll probably end up using it as a 9-1-1 dispatch center for my town. The police academy isn't something I would need as rookies are trained at the headquarters in my town. But its a set to consider though.

I have to disagree with you regarding the CMF Series Falconer. First of all, it comes with a reprinted/recolor of the seagull piece! Secondly, it's a completely new torso/arm/leg print for the Black Falcons. This is a huge deal, since LEGO has been reusing the same Black Falcon torsos, arms and legs since the reintroduction with the Medieval Blacksmith set. But far more importantly, the Falconer is essentially an expansion to an existing theme! This is great, since the Falconer is not a one-off, standalone figure, but instead intended to easily integrate into the existing medieval sets. I hate it when the CMF series gives us a bunch of medieval characters that don't match anything else (the snow king comes to mind). I want to see more variations of the Lion Knights, for example, or throwbacks to older themes--like how cool would it be if one CMF series featured a new alien for Life on Mars?
