+Eccentricka1, sometimes God has a more important assignment he needs certain people to do in Heaven than on Earth and he'll take them home early to do it. People think Heaven is a retirement center for souls. It's a busy active place with things that need to be done that affects all creation. It's one of the many reasons young people die early.

What I like about Aaliyah is that her dancing was still good and memorable but she didn't have to do the most. She had really good subtle dancing. Side note: can people stop comparing her to Beyoncé!!! Two completely different artists. Beyoncé is a power singer and Aaliyah had a much softer quality to her voice. Both incredibly talented, incredibly beautiful Black Women. Instead of pitting Black Women against each other we should be building them up because let's be real, they both are dope ass artists.

That chest voice of hers is impressive (dark and STRONG) and uses it extensively live. I'm convinced she was a true alto. At least you said she can sing instead of having poor judgement to say oh she can't. All she needed to do was sound like the record, not be Whitney Houston. Alot of singers today can't do that. But she was a good vocalist and could've been better over time.
