I ordered one of these from the October Amazon Prime sale from a few days ago. I received it today. I bought the doorbell and added a chime for $64.99. I’ll probably install it tomorrow, weather permitting. I have had a Ring Doorbell 2 for several years which still works but I like the idea of the head to toe camera and greater sensitivity. The mount will be easier to install as well. Just drill four screws into my wooden door. The old battery took quite a while to charge. I bought a second battery and would switch them out. I hope this one charges more quickly since it uses USB 3. The product seems to be very new as this is the first KZbin review I have found.

I installed it today, but it is hard to install on concrete or stucco wall. The rubber to which screws attach bent while pushing into the wall. Also the door bell does not click in position on the plastic cover , so anybody can remove it. Trying to find the reason why it does not click and sit, but can’t find any information on it.

Just bought this and thinking if i should get the one with the battery wuick release and just swap while i have one charged. Isnt ut a hassle having to remove the whole device and perhaps would be removed when u need it most? Idk

Couldn’t get ours to work. Kept saying it was already registered. It worked for a minute though, but then took me in circles, seemingly, just to get it connected.

I bought this and it work great. Also bought the solar for the Ring and that only charged the ring for a month until it stopped.

Mine is not connecting to the wifi! Does anybody know why?! It’s frustrating, tried all the reboot,fully charged battery and still doesn’t want to connect to our wifi. I wonder why

Stupid question: when you are programing it -- you are holding a tablet or a phone -- time point 3:20? I've just never seen a case like this - is why I am asking.

If you hard wire it, does it run on the 24v? Or does the hard wire just trickle charge the battery like the old ones and still run on the battery?

I installed mine last April,so far each charge has lasted between 10 and 12 weeks.

So instead of removing battery only we need to remove the whole device to charge? What a stupid design indeed
