That's great you have a cow that will always come up to you. I have a half acre in the inner-city here in Columbus Ohio. I had a Rhode island red rooster that walked into my yard and took it like he owned it. He will follow me around like he is my 2 legged dog crows when I leave the yard, and loves to sit on my lap when I sit in my swing. Yesterday he sat on my lap swinging for over 1 hour, he will pump his head like a little kid does.

I don't much care about the repairs (being an old non mechanically inspired grandma) but the sound of that tractor cranking inside the metal barn took me by surprise, took me back about 55 years. My dad was a citrus grower in Florida and he and Granddaddy had a long grey metal barn where they kept their tractors. I loved the smells and sounds in that barn. Thanks for sharing your days with us.

Pete You and Hillary put out such great wholesome videos. Keep'em coming. I was raised on International Tractors myself. Im 41 years old. My dad has a 55 IH 300 utility I was raised on. He's had since before I was born. Your educational words of wisdom almost makes me wanna quit my job and just raise cattle on my little 5 acres here in Kentucky. Keep up the great work.

Hey Pete and Hillary I sure enjoy your videos it reminds me of when I was a kid my grandfather had a farm and Leicester New York and also my Uncle Joe my Aunt Kay had a farm in Leicester. My grandfather's milking barn burned down in the early sixties. It broke my heart as a little boy and then he got cancer and passed away so my grandmother sold the farm. My aunt and Uncle Joe farmed and he retired in his 80s and sold the main Barn I remember when he built the barn it was a modern Barn witht a modern milking parlor and my aunt lived in his parents house and still lives in the same farmhouse she's 101 she still drives her car God bless her. My aunt's grandson reopen the old Barns several years ago and raises some cattle still farms the land. Seeing you both bring back great memories of my childhood God bless both of you and your family 🙏

I just did a check on an old tractor on property that my family has inherited. A Massey Ferguson 2135 Industrial tractor with Bucket Loader. Circa mid 1960s. Holds Oil, Holds Gas, Transmission is very much all water with a hint of oiliness. Ran about 10 years ago. I didn't have a battery, but it's a project for the summer. Your videos on the tractors are what lead me to your channel, and I've been watching (and liking) every one of them. Thanks!

Great job with the way you are letting your cattle graze, and let them move, so you have good hay all year long. The yearly getting equipment out, and cleaning lube and maintenance, is a never ending task. Also it never fails, something on the tractor you want to use, has little problems that take time to get ready. Always like your videos. Brings back memories of the farm in West Chazy, NY, north of Plattsburgh, where I was raised and lived until I was 18.

Lots of memories on this video Pete. that trip to Auburn did it for me. back in the mid 60's and mid 70's I was dealing hay and that was the area I did most of my dealings with. Weedsport, Cato, Victory, Auburn, Canajoharie etc. and around the finger lakes. area. used to average 3 loads a week out of that area. ( on straight job. about 380 bales. back then they were running aroundt 45-60 lbs in the 70's but in the 60's they were wire bakes and 60 -90 lbs the string was a welcome thing for our backs for sure. remember when you could have bought that gasket set for $20 bucks! I do! ugh! take me back! thanks for sharing great video have a gud day Pete! ECF

Exactly! About 40 years ago from a 285 ft tower I watched a 'farmer' leave his house, drive 300 yards to his tractor, cultivate for no more than 2 hours, then drive back to his house. He had near $200,000 of near new equipment work 2 hours that day and probably wonders why he's broke.
