Ahhh Haskill... I love that guy so much. First time I met him was in ESO, and he told me about the Fork of Horripulation. I asked him what it did, and he said it did all kinds of stuff but "In your hands, it would be most effective at conveying roast beef to your mouth". For years, YEARS, I was so excited at the idea of a magical fork granting me telekinetic powers that also happened to summon roast beef that I didn't understand the real roast. Me. I was the roast. He called me dumb and was so eloquent that I took it as a compliment.

I believe a possible reason Dyus is willing to help foil the Greymarch is that he is serving Jyggalag. The Prince despised being transformed into Sheogorath and 'victory' in the Greymarch caused exactly that. Being defeated was precisely what he needed to happen and Dyus helps to ensure this outcome occurs.

God, I love this channel. "Padomaic sheeps", trunk-load of puns and references and the re-discovered Brambleplinths (which I now genuinely use when talk about non-specific encumberance values). This EMANATES this special kind of energy that I absolutely adore and it never ceases to put a smile on my face. This was a really crappy day. I had an arguement with my gf, almost got fired and as the cherry on top - slipped on the icy path on a way home. I am tired as all hell, hungry (because I had no time for lunch at work) and on a verge of a mental breakdown. And I am sitting here, watching silly KZbin video, and it made me burst into laugh and tears at the same time when I heard "Assume the spherical cow". @@oilybrakesthis is the easy part. The game has a root folder that it should pull information and files from, so you just designate a sub-folder and the filename the same way you would to navigate windows or a website.

@chadoftoons 13 күн бұрын
I believe the creation engine can even be started with a batched file to run. Issue being that you'd be on the main menu where you would not get much use...except you could load in other scripts to run as commands from a different place then where the game executable is or maybe even get some script to wait until you do load in. Some "mods" in fallout 4s early days were just putting in batched scripts that ran commands like setting your charisma to 99 so you'd always get more settlers.

29:38 I can help you with that. If you prioritize using the smallest slice on the two negative options, then use the biggest slice available on the two positive options, it’s pretty much the most optimal method of increasing their disposition, other than bribing or charm. Because of the low number of options, NPCs end up with two patterns: what I often think of as “crosses” and “halves”. Once you get the pattern down, you can do the minigame incredibly quickly.

I wonder how the immaterial immortality of Daedra interacts with Soul Trap, because like, you can Soul Trap them, and Skyrim asserts that the fate of souls burned out of a Soul Gem is Mega Hell Purgatory in the Soul Cairn, but like, are Daedra bound to that, or just the mortal inhabitants of Nirn? Do Daedra end up in the Cairn and then just return to their proper realm when they get killed again? Also the game mentioned it, but using the Hearts on the Crystals stops them via overload, you're just shoving concentrated Daedric Order energy into the thing until it breaks

I have a theory, that this Greymarch is just a elaborate joke to make Hero of Kvatch believe he is new Sheo. The joke so good, Sheo has made the Elders Scrolls fanbase, a group of people outside of the ES universe, believe it as well. The Hero of Kvatch dies deluded he becomes a deandric prince, and with the last moment of his life, Sheo shows up, says "I was just a prank, mortal" and kicks him in the nads.

In the speechcraft mini game, every npc hates two options and likes two others. The losses from the ones they hate are both big enough that it's not worth using any but the smallest wedge on them. Any of the other wedges are worth using on the liked ones as long as the hated ones get the smallest wedge, but if your goal is to increase disposition as fast as possible, bigger wedges should be aimed for. For grinding the skill, you can just hit the smallest wedge on everything forever.

Fun fact (at least as far as I can tell), if you make a custom summon spell and it's first in the alphabetical order in your list, your clone does appear to use it, a fact I found out thanks to a joke spell I'd made up called "A Coward" which summoned a Skeleton Champion with Turn Undead being applied at the same time. My friend had a copy of the spell in his game, and when he fought his shadow, the clone actually used the spell. Would be fun to try out other sabotaging spells for this battle. XD

They craziest part of this entire video is that 24:32 made perfect sense... Elder Scrolls lore really does require you to be slightly insane. XD

Just want to say, as a fellow alopecia victim, seeing you joke around and own it is great comfort to me. I have areata instead of totalis so I have hair but the spread kills my confidence and pride when i notice it. So in short, came for the content, stayed for the comfort keep it up and I’ll keep coming

At this point I'm not watching for the challenge runs, I'm watching for the madcap theories and wild justifications for design decisions. Tell me more of the dense kingdoms of High Rock, o bard! Oh wait no that's the other guy. Shivering Isles is good too.

Shivering Isles is one of my favorite DLCs ever, and Jygglag is my favorite daedric prince. I hate that Skyrim didn't address any of this at all, and just had Sheogorath standing around like none of this happened.

Some of Sheo's dialogue alludes to the events of Oblivion in a roundabout way. "You are the best Septim that's ever ruled. Well, except for that Martin fellow, but he turned into a dragon god, and that's hardly sporting... You know, I was there for that whole sordid affair. Marvelous time! Butterflies, blood, a Fox, a severed head... Oh, and the cheese! To die for."

My strategy for the persuasion wheel in Oblivion is to focus entirely on the biggest bonus. When the biggest quarter circle is in a quadrant they like, choose that quadrant. Then choose the smallest bonus you can, no matter if its in the big dislike or the small dislike, because it's pretty much guaranteed to not be the biggest bonus.

RPGed a character that absolutely refused to mantle Sheo. Roleplayed my that character was always very very very drunk. Always running away from the PTSD of the Oblivion Crisis. My boi drunkenly stumbled through the door, "angry-drunked" his way to the palace, and basically told Sheo that he had done enough. Casually flipped him the bird, turned on his heel and was gone. Dude was wandering around the Shivering Iles completely lost looking for the way out because he can't remember how he came in. Perfect but tragic place to end his story.

I never actually beat Oblivion. I played quite a bit, doing random exploration stuff, hunting nirnroot and other stuff, but very little of the main quest. What I DID do on the other hand is completely do everything in the Shivering Isles, and loved every minute. It held my attention very well.

Nice to see the Shivering Isles again! I remember it being about as impressive as Oblivion proper was boring, and seeing it many years later I still feel that way. Perhaps it's time to revisit it myself.

So apparently Agility does basically nothing in Oblivion except (slightly) buff archery damage. Its basically a dump stat. Best to focus on Endurance, Strength and Intelligence with some points in Luck. The actual math behind the damage formulas is weird. Buffing beyond your max fatigue is way better for melee damage than buffing strength, even more than the blade/blunt skill. The best melee damage you could get is ironically to have 1 point of natural fatigue then use magic to buff it as high as possible.
