Marty & Hank were both consummate masters of good country music. There's no airs about either of them. Hank sometimes breaks into a chuckle... he's just having a great time. True old-school warmth of heart. RIP to two gentlemen of the business.

this segment of Marty's spotlight shows has got to me one of favorites. Marty has chosen a couple of my favorites (and I love them bunches) and Hank does the same. Still loving the country music of yesteryear after all these years. Thanks you all who do the posting and of course you tube.

Shame that Marty never recorded 'I Guess I've Been Asleep' in it's entirety as he sings a snippet here superbly. Hank's performance on another great song 'I've Done At Least One Thing That Was Good In My Life' is fabulous. A pleasure to see these two icons of country music together.

Fabulous! The Grand Old Opry's Hank Snow was actually from Nova Scotia, with a difficult childhood, but a superb musical gift. His rendition of Blue Canadian Rockies is my favourite. Marty Robbins was also fabulous but died too soon; I enjoy his music to this day.

Marty Robins had one of the smoothest & gentle voices of country music. Surely not like bull crap country today. Country has gone so far south its point of no return. Bring back Marty, Hank and Bakersfield. mos60

Two of the greatest country singers ever. Great show. I particularly liked Hank singing 'I've Done At Least One Thing That Was Good In My Life' which in my opinion is better than the recorded version. Shame Marty never recorded 'I Guess I've Been Asleep All These Years.'

There are so many great artists and songs, but I just don't think they make them like these anymore or maybe it's because they include so many wonderful memories that go with the music. There really are many talented singers and beautiful songs now days adding more music to be loved and remembered in times to come.

Can someone please let me know what is the correct name of the last song that Hank sings on this? Hank played the Tempo Ballroom near where I live back in the 1960's but alas I couldn't go as I was too young to frequent a ballroom! Thanks in advance.
