The PS-PG is one of Altus's flagship handmade models. This is a PS model, made of incredibly pure .997 Powder Silver, which is then platinum-plated on the headjoint and tube, and 18k gold rose plated on the mechanism. We asked Emer McDonough, Principal Flute of the RPO and Britten Sinfonia - as well as an Altus Artist - to talk to us about why she plays this model.

This flute is on my list to try at the NFA convention in 2 weeks. It is stunning visually but that sound is just wow. I have an Azumi and I love it but I’m in music school and will need an upgrade soon.
