So music theory is hard to describe if you’ve never played or delved into music at all. Basically the way he’s able to play everything by ear is because music theory is like the alphabet. So in the alphabet you have all these letters, same with music right, letters that are also notes. Also in the alphabet the letters come together to make words, and some words show up all the time, (The, And, This,That, Like) etc, so in music all those groups of letters are chords. So Once you understand the chords that show up in music a lot, you can start with that, which is what he does, that’s what he loops, the chords that generally make up the sound of the song. The real talent is riffing off of that general base of chords, and that just takes time, unless you’re naturally talented.

As far as I’m aware from watching his videos, he’s said that he’s never been in a band, however he does have some guitar solos he’s released as songs. Eric (TheDooo) went yo College for music engineering (music production) in the early years of his channel, but he was playing guitar even before that, To our knowledge he has never talked about being in or playing guitar in a band, However he has produced his own solo’s and collaborated in “Jungle” by the Mome boys, and he has a podcast with McNasty, Soup, and Blarg, called The “G00NS” podcast, and thats currently under Misfits Entertainment, that’s most of the knowledge right there, and as a final wrap up, he’s been playing guitar for somewhere around I think 16-ish years (give or take)
