Cook tender and juicy lobster tails easily on your pellet grill. This recipe is easy to replicate and can be done on most pellet grills that can reach 450° F.
In this video, we used the Weber SmokeFire EX4 Pellet Grill to grill the lobster tails. We cook two varieties: cold water and warm water lobster. Rather than dunking your tails in butter afterwards, we baste the tails with a butter and seasoning mixture throughout the cook infusing a great, buttery taste.

Great video! My wife has never had lobster (WHAT!??!?) so I've been wanting to make it for her. I found this when I searched the Smokefire grill. Considering buying one, how are you finding it?

Hi Dan, So far this has performed really well. I've cooked pork tenderloins, chicken breast, filet mignon, lobster, burgers and bacon on it. I haven't cooked anything overly fatty like a pork butt or brisket yet so I can't speak to that. It starts up easily, gets up to temp fast and holds the temp well. The app is easy to use. I don't use the app very much when I've used this grill but it's pretty straightforward and easy to navigate if I wanted to use it. These grills got some bad press when they launched which people tend to ask about. I can only speak to my experience with it which has been positive. It seemed the biggest issue was with smoking fatty foods (like brisket and pork butts) that have a lot of drippings, there is a need for a drip pan beneath the grates and directly below the food cooking. Again, I haven't cooked either of those items yet on this so can't speak to that. I've been happy with the results of what I've cooked on this grill. Those lobster tails came out really tender. I normally grill them on my gas grill and thought these came out better on the SmokeFire. The items I've cooked so far are what I cook at home, for the most part, on a weekly basis so it could easily fit in to my every day rotation. Overall, I've used this grill for 10 cooks.
