It’s good to see one of the softest, overpowered superheroes smirking in the face of a world ending event when he should be fighting. The Flash stopping to admire Superman lifting a building, and kidding around with the children while the world’s under cataclysmic peril was so cool also. I fully expect the DCEU to catch up with the MCU by early 2032. 35 at the latest.

You know when I first saw Steppenwolf I thought the CG on him was really bad, and it still is. Yet, watching this re-edit, it's clear to see the effects weren't the only problem, but the fact he was designed for a film with a darker color palette; so the new, brighter color only drew more attention to the flaws in the CG.

I think when Cyborg was having the vision, I think it was telling Cyborg that Superman isn’t a good guy anymore and he’ll be more of a dictator like in “Injustice Gods Among Us.” You could see what I’m talking about if you watch the Cyborg vision scene in 0.25 because you see one of the guards patch on his shoulder has an S on it and the uniforms look similar to the game.
