There's really nothing wrong with the way Ezra miller's Flash runs. Most of the time he runs just like anyone else would. There was maybe a handful of scenes where his run was different, but it almost reminds me of like a speed skater or hockey player.

Joss Whedon's Justice League, sadly, was just a huge collection of errors, mischaracterizations, bad writing, and missed opportunities. The Snyder Cut, fortunately, looks like almost an entirely different movie. And it looks like it might be good enough to redeem and erase the horrible Joss Whedon cut. I would say that, if this works the way it looks like it will, they should disregard the previous version and make this canon. But with the directions that DC is going lately (many of them looking very good), I don't know if canon is really going to matter going forward anyway.

I'm running through all the reactions for this trailer and what I noticed are not many are commenting on how fitting the song choice was, other than an epicness. The lyrics are so telling, it's almost like Snyder is telling the story of how jacked up the theatrical release was, what went wrong, and how it's gonna be released correctly. I think the reason why Ezra Miller runs odd as the Flash is, his Barry Allen is NOT an athlete, he is and was a nerdy non athletic guy. He now has these amazing powers and access to the Speed-force, that will not turn him automatically into a guy with the grace of Usain Bolt. Ezra Miller, before he went off the deep end, went to China and learned Northern Kung Fu to learn about cohesive body movements that reduce air friction as much as possible to learn about The Flash’s speed force abilities. Imagine doing all of that to have somebody say “haha goofy run funny!” This approach to DC wasn’t for children who refuse to accept superheroes as serious characters. They wanted to apply physics to it.

I liked Josstice League. The thing is, my opinion of that film went down since I first saw it, but it wasn't due to anyone's criticisms that were voiced about the film, it was seeing what COULD'VE been. At last we're getting the greatest superhero epic of all time! As a non-Snyder fan, I just want to get a few thoughts off my chest after watching the trailer a few times to see why I felt the way I did. First off **If you are excited for the Snyder Cut, that is fine, good on you, I sincerely hope you enjoy it**. That being said, as someone who was meh on MoS and hated BvS (Yes I watched the extended cut, it was just a longer version of what I disliked the first time), watching the new Snyder cut trailer hasn't don't anything to change the opinion of what I expect the Snyder cut to be. Watching the trailer, my reaction was basically "Yep, this does look like a Zack Snyder movie." The trailer is just a bunch of 5-second shots from throughout the movie with some generic famous music playing to make it seem profound then it maybe is (seriously you could swap out Hallelujah with half a dozen other generic famous emotional songs and the trailer would have felt the same). Look here's a shot of Batman being sad, Look here's a shot of Superman gazing into the distance, Look here are three giant grey monster villains instead of one, and look here a bunch of scenes I recognize from the first Justice League movie. And here's the thing, *these shots look cool*, but one of my biggest issues with Snyder's films is they look and are shot well, but the actual content in them is lacking, and I can't help but notice that the profound music is disguising the fact we aren't hearing any dialogue or story: the weakest part of his last movie. My biggest take away from the trailer is that the actress who plays Iris, Kiersey Clemons, is ridiculously good looking, as in "how are you a real person you are so good looking." **Look if you are a Snyder fan, I'm glad you are getting this movie. If you were unsure of the Snyder Cut, and this trailer got you on board, good for you.** But for me, this trailer does nothing to get me interested. I'm probably not going to watch the movie unless a few critics I trust say either its good (as in if you didn't like BvS or MoS, you will still probably like this) or bad (as in its a trainwreck that doubles down on all the things critics and audiences hated). As it stands though, I still have the feeling after this trailer as I did before: the Snyder cut will probably be just OK and if you like his previous stuff you will like this, but otherwise, you can skip it.

But I always could see what it was supposed to be thanks to the trailers and the last 5-10 years of Comic-Con panels and interviews of Zack talking about it and describing the plan. And with as much trouble as Patty Jenkins has with Wonder Woman in making them leave in key scenes, like the no man’s land scene was supposed to be cut by the studio but Patty fought for it for MONTHS!!! And that is an important and pivotal scene to the character, but the studio was being stupid. Don't tell me the first round wasn't satisfactory ... it is almost like you don't believe people can have different opinions. You do also realise that a lot of the people watching this trailer do like the original and just want to see this version as well? You know you can like a theatrical version and a directors cut as well? The original release made nearly $700mil at the box office, the petition was like 180k people ... thats small potatoes compared to how many people watched it . A lot of people liked it, a lot of people hated it and a lot of people thought it was OK but could be better, it just so happens that with everything, the negative section are always the most vocal. They have released how many versions of Blade Runner now, does that mean the original was bad? I don't like using Rotten tomatos as the barometer of what is and is not good, but look at the audience rating on there. 40% from 395 critics, 71% from 127,657 users. That overall is not bad score from the public. Not great, but still pretty decent. Just proves that you have a wide reaching amount of opinions. I thought the film was decent but could be better, so I am really looking forward to the Snyder cut. Doesn't diminish my feelings for the original though, and I will still watch it. What everyone forgets though is most of these people who petitioned to get the Snyder cut made were probably also the same people who shit all over Snyder for his Man of steel and BvS movies. Amazing how people forget how much shit Snyder got for those two.

I have very fond memories of watching the original Super Friends when I was very young (mid-late 90s), years before I watched anything from Marvel. I was SO EXCITED for Justice League. I DESPERATELY wanted it to be awesome......and it wasn't. It was a lackluster action movie with horrible CGI, (both Steppenwolf AND the non-mustache) and not near enough details or backstory on the new characters that had a few moments that were pretty good. I really hope this is the DCEU's savior it looks to be.

@@zanderman15 Exactly. DC's heroes are "gods". Another analogy I like to think of is that Marvel has normal, down to Earth, grounded in reality heroes, while DC's big heroes are more like physical manifestations of ideals. Like Batman IS Justice. Superman IS Hope. Wonder Woman IS Truth.
