hey justice institute, I looked at your website but couldn't find the "SME-ACK forms......help, these forms sound like a cure for some of my problems at our SAR in Nevada....Thanks in advance.

Hello Peter, you can search here for SAR forms: myem.jibc.ca/sar/sar-forms . But for specifics on the “SMEAC” briefing format try searching the web as those forms are also used by a number of SAR and police organizations too (i.e., RCMP SMEAC Briefing Format). If you still have trouble finding it let us know and we can see what we can do. Hope that helps.

Several Area Search Dogs could have eliminated most of the areas and Trailing Dogs could have been started at the PLS this scenario presented is ridicules.

I am told we have different regulations for the use of sar dogs in Canada. The RCMP is responsible for most, if not all, the dog teams here I believe. Individual SAR teams don't have their own dogs as far as I know.
