More and more scientists think it's likely that we're looking at an eruption that could last for months so once again, we face the prefect uncertainty. It's very likely that I will flu over the new eruption next weekend but I'm still not well and need to move slow for at lest few days more. many thanks to you all who have been asking about me and sensing me messages.

Gylfi, I nominate you to document & write a new Icelandic saga. You are the right person for this task. Grindavik deserves it's own saga, but it possible it is not over yet. Iceland hasn't had a new saga added to the historic record for a long time. Some silly movie star tried with "The Story of Fire Saga" back in 2020, but Grindavik's story is the real deal. Iceland's 700 year wait for a new saga is over! Gylfi the Skald! Maybe there can be an effort to commission a very nice painting of you, similar to the painting of old, such as Egill ok Grettir as they brandished their swords, but you will be brandishing the controller to your drone, and riding in your Skoda ( or whatever you drive)

PS - my theory was that the Icelandic tourist authority had a talk with Mother Earth on making this eruption longer so as to promote the 2024 tourist season. So happy to hear from you again though so sad to hear you have been sick. I’ve looked every day on your channel. Read in news of this eruption but not seeing your posts was very concerning. You mentioned going to try to film from several locations in the previous video one being Blue Lagoon parking area I think. My worry was what if you got stuck between flow and road closures. No mention of people harmed in the flow in the news so it was a little reassuring. I know you have been filming for so many years now. Getting a clip of them merged together to see it in one film would be fascinating changes but might be a bit of an editing job. The last shot of the horse with that background which is so obviously changed as of today is amazing. Watching the lava flow is mesmerizing. Sort of like staring into a tornado knowing it’s dangerous but also standing there in paralyzing awe of this nature we all live in now. You said here it’s acting like this one is doing the same again as far as uplift already? I may have heard that wrong? I would imagine the new land from cooled flow would add a lot of weight to that area of land thus allowing the land on either side to lift, possibly crack allowing the magma an easy way to the surface. Is it unusual for it to cross the road at the same location again? I would have thought the road would be a little higher-guiding the flow away from there but instead, it went over the same spot!! Wow!! I’m looking forward to your after shots when you get well! That will be awesome to see! Mother Nature is always on her toes & busy everywhere. At least you got home before feeling bad.
