Beautiful interview! I really enjoyed this interview! Hearing how he got into iZulu Lami just goes to show ukuthi “when it’s your time, it’s your time!” Imagine going through all of that and you thought you were representing your school & you had no clue that you were working 😂. I love how the presenter allowed him to talk until he finished expressing and explaining the whole story without distracting him It’s 2025!!! We need to see you on our screens again Tshepang! Letssss goooo Mr award winner 🏆 🥇 🔥👏🎬

10k was worth about 25k that time man, not bad though. but i wish they would have at least had royalties to still benefit today. Good to see this bud 💯

Not really, 17 years ago was 2008. Adjusted for inflation that is equivalent to 7K in 2025. If someoene got paid 7K for the same role today would you say it was a lot in 17 years? Would you even agree to start with?
@tokologomalatsiAu17 күн бұрын
@@howtogeek_muswazi the point is; what you could get for 10k back then is not what you get for 10k today... e.g, you could get bread for less than 10rand in 2009, now you need more than that in 2025.
@sisonkecommunity2014 күн бұрын
@@howtogeek_muswaziback then in 2008 the rand was strong and it had value.I started working for government in 2008 and my first salary was R1600 pm.This guy earned R10k for just a role especially for his age it was alot of money

I must say, shout out to the host for allowing this man to share his story in his home language. Some hosts don't really allow that. A guest must struggle with some of the words in English, which at the end of the day changes how the story has been portrayed. 👌👌
