He also said in a interview that he thought marriage would fix things and it was an arranged marriage. If you look up Selena song 23 messages (Ring) you will know he called her and messaged her many times wanting her to give him a reason to not get married but she didn't answer any of his calls or text. They couldn't find him on his wedding day he was hidden, crying, and trying to get a hold of selena. Also Justin needed a visa because of his legal troubles and selena wasn't willing to marry him for that reason so he ran to the one person he knew that would.

The song that was singing was for Hailey. He said on some show a long time ago that he wrote a song that didn't make his album which was if I met you in 5 years which was about Selena. She said that there were trust issues because he was cheating time and time again. She kept giving him multiple chances. When you love someone so much, and that person keeps doing things to hurt you, you are blind to the hurt and think that they will change. He had said when he was younger that your on the road surrounded by beautiful women and you get yourself in trouble. He kept repeating bad behavior and I guess she had enough. He really loved her but couldn't stay on the straight and narrow. She also said on the Ryan Seacrest show that he did somethings and so did she. It was the best decision she made for herself. I'm just gonna say, "Forgiveness is an awesome practice." Everybody's journey is different, but I truly believe perception & Forgiveness are important keys to healing and moving forward. The songs are great. But instead of sharing with the entire world as much as I love the lyrics, just think how much more healing & beautiful it'd be if sent in a heartfelt letter.
