I’m not sure if the Boks have enough bullets left in the clip… But if we are able to fire one last round then this victory alone will probably go down as our greatest in our history. This weekend reminds me of the 2012 Super Rugby season where the Sharks had to travel to Brisbane to play the Reds who had won the comp the previous year. After winning, their reward was a game against the Stormers in Cape Town which somehow they managed to win. And the last hurdle was the Chiefs away in New Zealand. As good as the Sharks were, they just didn’t have enough left in the tank and the Chiefs ended up winning quite comfortably. There’s a lot at stake at this weekend, Springboks have the history, All blacks have the pedigree. my gut is telling me All Blacks will win a fourth title this weekend. But we need to also remember that the Boks have never lost a final and are also looking to go back to back…

You will be surprised mate. I think South Africa will left beyond expectations for the World Cup final, they always do. Whether it’s adrenaline or drive or the people back home they will be good for the full 80. As a kiwi I am worried about our discipline, we can’t stop big packs close to the line without giving away penalties. SA fan here and yes we are tired and yes it was a tough path but the best thing that could’ve happened to us is a All Black final. Tired or not we will lift our game for the ABs, which will make it a contest. No springbok side wouldn’t

I am a South African and everyone talks about our physicality but New Zealand are hengova strong men, too. Frizell, Savea, Retallic, Scott Barrit to name are very physical and always give us a torrid time. So I don't feel we have any upper hand.

Why is it when South Africa lose in Mt Smart the boks cant be off, but when the All Blacks lose in Twickenem, all Blacks are off. South Africa played their first game in Mt Smart as it was a completely different team against Australia the week before. Those guys were off. That game was close at some point. 35 points to 20 with missed kicks is hardly a annihilation.

I agree that the ABs have timed there run perfectly for the Final. Only 2 things "concern me" The wet weather and Wayne Barnes. If its dry and Wayne lets the game flow then ABs by 10+. If wet and Wayne "wants to control" the game then its a flip of a coin..........

The main thing that concerns me is any notion that the Springboks will allow themselves to get beaten. NZ will have to dig deep - and get everything right. The Springboks will be the toughest encounter the All Blacks have had all year - including what happened at Twickenham.

FYI 1996 was the first time the ABs won a series in SAF, it was also the first time the games in SAF had a neutral ref. Before that the games in SAF had always had SAF refs.
