Canada and the USA need at least an EU-style agreement. We have the longest unprotected border in the world and all the immigration, customs, and patrolled border crossings need to be eliminated. It's primarily a huge win for Canada, albeit quite a bit late in coming, but better late than never, I suppose. As for the tariff remarks from Trump earlier, I'm convinced those were directed at Turdeau's moronic policies rather than Canada, and they seemed to help in some measure to ending their political nightmare early. The pipeline will very likely be making a comeback, as will improved political and trade relations with our Canadian friends.

He did NOT resign. In his words, "I INTEND to resign". A Carefully thought out line that places him still as PM until HE decides it's time to step down. And that won't be any time soon, I assure you. Trudeau is too power greedy and has, since 2015, been a PM only for his personal financial gain. He then prorogued parliament in order to buy as much time as HE needs/requires, in order to manipulate the electoral process which will see him retain power/control for at least the next 10-15 years.
