Underrated video, Robbie. The average viewer just isn’t going to care about this type of video but it’s important that you make them because eventually they will. Maybe you could make it into a short or reel to appease the masses and their dwindling attention spans? Just a thought. Jk.

You really are one of the best photographers on KZbin. I really related to your comments on the need to find "the next one" and not enjoying your photos once you've taken them. I'm stuck on this feeling after many years of making images that inspire me briefly but never really "say" what I feel like they need to say. We're the same age and have a very similar style, I wonder if it's a byproduct of the world(s) we came up in. Anyway, thanks!

I will have to spend more time and go through it a number of times, but already there are some shots I have gone back to more than once that just captivate me. Another wonderful book I ended up with about 6 months ago is Odesa by Yelena Yemchuk. Not sure if you have had a chance to see it.

Excellent work Robbie. This was a good one, I myself just shot 4x5 for the very first time in my life (Chamonix 45 F2) and there is something about this format that draws us back, I did capture 4 images and sadly had some light leak, but I refuse to give up on 4x5. I am based in NYC and also smoke a cigar or 2 or 3 a week. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂. Your image @15:52 came Out BEAUTIFUL.
