Been a fan since I saw them the first time in 96 in a club. Always been a fan of the theatrics and their interesting use of melody and classical harmony in their writing. @ ok maybe 33-34 years ago, time flies. They were a 4 piece band, the album is listed on Discogs and I presume super rare - my copy is staying right here! It cost about £2 if I remember. Alex the drummer works in the city, Matt the bassist is a session Musician, Doug the guitarist a surgeon. The band were meant to play a local gig but broke up before hand, although turned up with some bass bins to loan another band. The other 2 bands still played that night. I was in a band called Black Moon with Ben, the original keyboard player from Cradle of Filth. Doug had a great guitar sound and played a Black BC Rich Warlock through a JCM 800 half stack. “Catch” is a really good song from the album. I remember Ben’s brother Paul played a black BC Rich, and was also in the early Cradle of Filth line up.

If you didn't, I suggest to take a look at the movie they made back in 2000, cradle of fear, it's at the same time incredible and ridiculous, with all the matrix and gore influence from the early 2000 underground era using the most unrealistic effects. Nostalgic stuff indeed. I hope they do well for a lot of time.
