“Before the Next Tear Drop Falls” was Freddie’s biggest hit and, the first to mix english and spanish. Beautiful. Another Mexican Country Artist is Johnny Rodriquez. Crossing the Texas Border illegally, he got into some trouble in Richmond, Tx and jailed. His singing talents were discovered while in jail. Johnny’s big hit was - Riding my thumb to Mexico.

Vaya Con Dios was first recorded by Anita O'Day in December 1952. Les Paul and Mary Ford had a No. 1 recording of the song in 1953. Gene Autry (Singing movie cowboy) also recorded it in 1953.

ThatSong was from the 1940''s Les Paul and Mary Ford. He played the guitar and she sang this song. I believe thay also did Secret Love, which Freddy did. Secret Love was a Doris Day song from the 1940's. This song is good by him, and Mary Ford. That is the singer Don Williams. This show is Pop Goes the Country. This was from the 1970's.
