These sold videos are more interesting than most other KZbin videos because the items you list and sell tend to be different...not just clothes, hats, etc. Also I REALLY like watching how your software program's data allows you to see ROI for each sold item. As a very part-time reseller, I enjoy your videos for your direct and clear approach. Your sold videos aren't relevant to me in the UK, but seeing the software and ROI on each item is fascinating. I've an Excel spreadsheet that gives me what I need to keep the taxman happy. My ROI is low but it's all profit and I only started doing this 6 months ago so I am still learning about stuff (I'm not touching electronics!). Best of all, reselling keeps me curious and gets me out and about so it's more than just hard cash for me.

Sometimes you've done the right thing & not sold too low when it sells right away. It's better than it sitting for a year. You looked up what you thought the value was & someone subscribed to that information found it most likely & liked the price.

One good think about offers most people don't realize... it let's you pre screen your buyer. You can click on their name, go to feed back. Scroll down to all feedback and then click on feedback left for others... you can spot a bad buyer in a heartbeat and block them before ever having an issue again. Or make a sound decision on counter offer or giving a discount to a good buyer. Plus, the algorithm seems to like the interaction with customers when you do. I usually end up with a sale or two after sending counteroffer for a complete different item from different buyer as if it send traffic to my door.

Hey, Justin. I have the same issue with buyers with returns. I now use a security sticker on items that can be taken apart. If the seal is broken or removed 50% refund. On vacuum tubes I use a marker and make a color dot on the bottom of the tube. If the tube is returned without the dot, it's been switched out, 50% refund or none at all. I've had an increase of scams over the past year too. Anyway, my 2 cents.

Is there any more information on Flipwise, like possibly pricing, and if it will be available before 2024? It looks really good, and I can't wait to get my hands on it to try it even as a small part-time reseller. I saw that it tracks when you purchased it and the delist and relist of items. Does the software do that for you automatically? Can you schedule that or even do it manually, or is it just tracking what you do on eBay yourself? Also, will that software generate the reports needed by a cpa at the end of the year? I really need a good piece of software for inventory, tracking, taxes, and everything else for 2024.

Hey Michael, you can see more info on our website: flipwise.app. To answer your questions, Yes, when you end and relist/sell similar, Flipwise picks that up and reflects it automatically. You cannot yet schedule the ending and relisting through Flipwise, but that is coming soon. You'll be able to set rules like: if this hasn't sold in X days, end and relist. Or turn on best offers. Or turn on promotions. Stuff like that. And yes, it'll generate everything you need for taxes. It stays in sync with eBay at all times and automatically ingests all sales data in real time. Yes I watched the video awhile back. You are very quick. It baffles me how most eBay sellers put only minimal info in the listing and sell items. How long does it take you to list 40 items? Do you do all in one day and bank or try to list daily? All new or some relists?

Its so fun watching just how completely different styles of flipping people have. I love watching the higher ROI flips you do, definitely fun. I currently also have a full time job/full time student, and have been flipping on the side, current avg is net $2500/month after fees, but I flip completely different stuff, I average maybe 15 items a month, and im closer to a 100 spent, 130 earned, 30% margin kind of situation. So I spent about 8000 a month to make 10500 gross back. Totally different enviornments. I couldnt imagine having to deal with nearly the amount of items you sell, it sounds dreadful, but also the almost 0 risk does seem nice too, where for me, I do have to be pretty spot on for my pricing due to my lower margins.

I do that quite a bit but instead of “for parts only” I say “Not tested.” For parts only makes it sound like you know it’s broken. Not tested means maybe it works!

@@ld5750 Yes you are right! You can put "not tested" and (possibly) show it powered on in a photo but avoid further testing. Justin had to list as "parts only" because it was previously returned. I have much respect for electronic resellers. It's tough these days.
